Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2023-08) Soto de la Cruz, Diego Alejandro; Rosero Mantilla, César AníbalThis research project establishes a Quality Management System (QMS) based on the international standard ISO 9001:2015 as a proposal for the standardization and improvement of the operational sector of the company KIPA Alimentos del Sol, dedicated to the production of consumer products from Andean grains and fruits, the main objective of the system is the improvement of the quality of the products optimizing their operational processes and increasing customer satisfaction by meeting each of their established requirements. A field methodology was used, from this the research was started with the application of an interview to the general manager of the company to delimit the context of the organization with a checklist designed for internal audit of compliance with the requirements established by international regulations, consequently to the application of the survey global data were obtained regarding the current compliance with the requirements resulting in a 29%, which generates an overall QMS rating of low due to the empirical way of working for both productive and administrative processes where the respective documented justification is not maintained. After obtaining the overall results, the respective Quality Manual is developed in accordance with the requirements of the regulations, in which the mandatory records established in search of the direction and projection of the organization to the growth and improvement of the company are documented. Finally, in the development of the QMS it was formalized with the obtaining of 10 documented procedures was formalized, between mandatory and additional in context and benefit of the organization, said documentation contains specific information and detailed instructions of each area focused within the QMS.
