Carrera de Ingeniería en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2021-03) Tipanquiza Duque, Hennry Pavel; Córdova Córdova, Edgar PatricioABSTRACT The research project presents the development of a prototype for the disinfection of small closed spaces, which uses an electronic mechanical system to reduce human effort in the development of disinfection tasks, thus allowing a considerable reduction in the time spent in perform the disinfection of these spaces. The use of UVC Light has boomed in recent years and with greater force during the Covid-19 pandemic, so many companies have developed different devices where their main operating base revolves around UVC light, therefore, has proposed the development of a prototype based on this type of light since it allows to improve disinfection levels according to the special characteristics it possesses. The material used for the construction of this is stainless steel, due to the adaptability, aesthetics and hardness of the prototype, as well as fragments of 3D prints have been implemented to complement adaptations of equipment, systems, current technology and considerably reduce equipment manufactured by large companies. The use of free hardware plays an important role in the device since it allows its control and management of it through the Arduino development card, as well as peripherals compatible with the mentioned card, with the purpose of reducing costs, radio frequency technology was used. The system was tested and developed for home use, to verify its functionality and fulfillment of the objectives set, control and handling tests were developed, as well as its correct operation, in addition to performing a controlled laboratory test using the system.
