Item Proceso de jubilación y nuevos roles en jubilados ordinarios por vejez del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social (IESS)(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2018-06) Tixilema Cuji, Anabel Pamela; Balseca Basantes, Jeanneth ElizabethThe purpose of this research is to determine the importance of the retirement process and the adaptation to new roles in an ordinary retiree for old age of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) Ambato, since in this stage of labor closure several aspects can be contemplated and factors that influence the change of a future retiree, affecting the quality of vide of these people, in this way also identify the role that a professional in the Social Work Area can develop for the benefit of a retiree. The methodology that was applied centrally in the research process was the Socio - Critical paradigm, focusing on knowing the reality of each person and gathering information depending on the social environment in which the retiree is located and in this way analyzing each hypothesis or version provided by the person involved, providing data that will synthesize in a general way the knowledge provided based on the situation in which it is located due to its lack of information. The proposal that was generated after the investigation was the creation of an "Intervention Plan directing towards future retired old people of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) for a better adaptation to new roles after retirement", in this way a planned, organized and integral intervention is being founded, where it will be involved with the work of a multidisciplinary team, which will contribute to the knowledge of the family and social reality of the person and even the physical and psychological state of a retired future , to be able to focus on strengths such as family relationships and social environment to generate alternative solutions that allow improving the living conditions and the integral development of each individual.
