Mg.
Investigate about the choice of older adults in the Community of Angamarquillo when choosing between a conventional treatment versus treatment with medicinal plants, with the objective of knowing what their preference is and the reasons why they choose a certain treatment. To get to know the preferences of the elderly about the mentioned treatments, a questionnaire was carried out, which consists of 22 questions, being applied to 110 elderly people living in the Community of Angamarquillo. When concluding with the survey made to the elderly, it is determined that approximately 50% of the population chooses treatment with medicinal plants either for economic reasons, beliefs, and even for ease obtaining positive results for them especially in acute diseases, while that the rest is accepted by conventional medicine especially for chronic diseases due to not being satisfied with the results of treatment with plants
