The present technical project is based on the measurement, analysis and diagnosis of vibrations by the construction of an electronic system based on Micro Electromechanical sensors (MEMS) applied in rotary machines. The accelerometers used to carry out the project are LIS3DH and to MMA8451. This system has a human-machine interface in order to give a real-time diagnosis of the machine in which the tests are being performed. Together with the experimental measurements, a 2D mathematical model has been developed with the purpose of studying the effect of the unbalance and the type of anchorage in an asynchronous motor, thus being able to compare theoretical data with the obtaining through the measurement system. The mathematical analysis implemented in the human-machine interface consists un the frequency domain of the data by means of the Fast Fourier Transformation. Based on this result, the peak velocity and frequency can be easily determined. These values are compared with the limits established in different international regulations in order to determine criteria evaluation on the state of the machine.
