    The Contact Center of Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Credi Ya Ltda. was developed with technologies that ensured efficient performance and an optimal user experience. Angular was used in the frontend, providing a dynamic and intuitive interface, while the backend was implemented with Node.js for fast and efficient executions. State-of-the-art technologies, such as Wave Grandstream, were incorporated to improve the quality of voice calls. In terms of database, MongoDB was chosen, offering flexibility and scalability to manage large volumes of data. Regarding the development methodology, the XP methodology was adopted, which stands out for its agile approach. This allowed a flexible adaptation to change in the project requirements and a continuous delivery of functionalities. The system consists of several modules designed to optimize management and communication with partners. The Debt Collection Module facilitates the efficient management of outstanding payments with clear visualizations and analytical tools. The Mailing Module automates birthday greetings and tracks detailed mailings. The Forms Module enables the creation and management of customized surveys, while the Campaigns Module facilitates the planning and execution of campaigns, leveraging database information. The User Administration Module ensures complete control over permissions and associated data management

    Aplicación web para el control y seguimiento en la ejecución de proyectos para la Empresa Eléctrica Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A

    This research focused on developing a web application to optimize the control and monitoring of projects at Empresa Eléctrica Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A. (EEASA). The application utilizes socket technologies to provide real-time visualization of project progress. Initial analysis revealed deficiencies in project management processes at EEASA; stakeholder interviews provided insights into challenges and essential requirements, justifying the need for an automated solution. The RAD development methodology allowed for agile and consistent execution. The program is notable for its capacity to improve decision-making by providing real-time information through sockets, thanks to its Angular frontend and Spring Boot backend. Through the resolution of issues, the program secures data integrity and enhances project control and monitoring productivity, timeliness, and security. The strategic choice of technologies, methodologies, and frameworks contributed to the project's success, providing EEASA with an effective tool to manage large-scale projects and enhance the user experience. The significance lies in increased effectiveness and time savings in project management, with tangible contributions to overall EEASA improvement and customer satisfaction. This project represents a significant step towards modernization and operational efficiency at EEASA, setting a new standard for project management and elevating competitiveness and customer satisfaction.

    Aplicación web progresiva (PWA) para la gestión de procesos de cobro de la Junta de agua potable para la parroquia Huambaló caserío La Merced.

    The present work is based on the improvement of the process management of the drinking water board Huambaló hamlet La Merced, since the information that is handled is not registered in an optimal way and this makes it susceptible to losses and in the same way provide greater control of the information handled, as well as access control to the same data handled by roles to perform different actions within the application, thus improving data security and process management. The application was developed using the Angular framework in its version 13.3.1, which uses the TypeScript language as its engine, which is a free programming language and is maintained by Microsoft, TypeScript is a superset of JavaScrip that essentially adds types static and class-based objects. The Back-end is developed in Node.js version 14.15.0 and with the package manager version 13.3.1, it offers a wide variety of libraries which allow developing robust and secure servers. The methodology used for the development of this application was the XP methodology (Xtreme Programming), this is an agile development methodology, which means that it focuses on the important data in this way, advancing rapidly with the design and programming, avoiding in as much as possible unnecessary documentation.

    Currently, there are several technologies which have provided numerous benefits to different companies in order to optimize and improve the processes that are handled internally and externally. An example of these new technologies that have become very popular for their multiple benefits are Progressive Web Applications. PWAs (Progressive Web Apps) are a combination of a web application and a native application, combining their benefits to provide a user-friendly experience. Over time, its popularity has been increasing since it can be used in a web browser or installed on a computer or smart phone without the need for a specific operating system, thus giving the advantage of maintaining and using the equipment that a company has. This project has been developed with the purpose of helping the company Ambagro S.A. in the processes involved in the creation and dispatch of orders generated by the company's vendors, as well as the control of the vendors by proposing a process which can meet the expectations of the requirements generated. All this hand in hand with the benefits provided by Progressive Web Applications. The project has been developed in the Angular 12 framework, which uses the TypeScript programming language, which has several useful libraries, such as @angular/pwa, which is used to create Progressive Web Applications in a simple way. The methodology used for the development of the project was Xtreme Programming (XP), since due to the size of the project and other factors it was the most appropriate methodology. Firebase was used as Backend since it has different useful services for the development of the system, as is the case of the NoSQL Firestore database.

    Aplicación web utilizando Framework open source para la gestión de inventario en el almacén PIL’S Autorepuestos

    Inventory management is essential for the efficient operation of any business, as it directly impacts product availability, customer satisfaction, and ultimately financial results. As the company experiences continuous growth, inventory management becomes increasingly complex. The variation in products, suppliers, and locations requires a more advanced approach than conventional methods based on spreadsheets or manual systems. This project aligns with the research line in Information Technologies and Control Systems, aiming to implement a web application for inventory management using an Open Source framework at the "Pil's Autorepuestos" warehouse. The goal is to automate manual inventory management processes, incorporate administrative roles to improve spare parts traceability, and contribute significantly to decision-making. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology is employed for planning, design, coding, and testing of the product, facilitating efficient supervision of deliverables at each stage of the process, ensuring compliance with the requirements defined by the warehouse manager. The application is structured into three key components: a robust and secure SQL Server database for information management, a backend developed in .NET Core using Entity Framework to provide a scalable and modular architecture, and a frontend implemented with Angular due to its modular structure. Bootstrap, along with the AdminLTE template, was used for design.

    Currently, smart devices, especially Smart TVs, have seen a significant increase in homes. These devices offer a wide range of functions that go beyond simple television viewing, including Internet access, streaming content, games and interactive applications, however, the lack of security standards and users' lack of awareness of attacks , have created an open door for possible cyber threats since these devices not only serve to display content, but are also interconnected with home networks and store personal data. The objective of this work is to carry out Pentesting tests through the OWASP methodology, using specialized tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Ettercap and ADB, thus evaluating security by performing penetration tests on smart home devices. The ultimate goal is to provide concrete recommendations and security measures to establish practices and policies that protect the integrity of users, raising awareness about the risks and providing them with tools to improve security in the digital home environment.

    Hacking ético para la detección de vulnerabilidades mediante la utilización de herramientas Open Source en la red inalámbrica de la Unidad Educativa Pelileo

    In today's digital age, the use of wireless technologies has transformed the way we connect. Every day, thousands of people access the network through devices such as smartphones and laptops. However, with this increase in connectivity, cybercriminals are looking to exploit vulnerabilities to access sensitive data, compromise privacy and, in extreme cases, carry out broader attacks, both commercially and domestically. This research project aims to find vulnerabilities by penetration testing the Wi Fi network of the Pelileo Educational Unit for threat analysis, assessing the reliability, integrity and accessibility of the information and network. During the development, in the evaluation phase following the ISSAF methodology, controlled intrusion tests such as brute force attack, Evil Twin attack, denial of service and Man-in-the-Middle are performed. Specific OWISAM security controls are applied and Open Source tools such as Aircrack-ng and Ettercap, essential for the execution of these tests, are selected. The results obtained from these evaluations provide the network security status. In summary, this work stands out for its practical approach, applying intrusion attacks by determining weaknesses affecting the Wi-Fi network in an educational context. The proposal contributes to the field of cybersecurity by providing a specific methodology to analyze and strengthen wireless networks in similar environments.

    Prototipo de un sistema de monitoreo y control para la gestión de consumo de agua en los cultivos de plantas del vivero Michita mediante lógica difusa

    The main objective of this thesis work is the development of a prototype monitoring and control system for the management of water consumption in the plant crops of Michita Nursery, using fuzzy logic. This system seeks to optimize the irrigation of plants by integrating advanced technology, thus reducing water waste and improving the efficiency in the use of this vital resource. The developed prototype is based on a modular design approach, which includes the integration of soil moisture sensors, servomotors, solenoid valves and a microcontroller with Internet connection. The accuracy of the sensors is critical to provide accurate data on soil moisture status, allowing the system to make informed decisions on the amount of water needed for each plant. Fuzzy logic is used to manage irrigation decisions, focusing on pump speed based on rules that consider multiple variables and their interactions. The prototype development process followed the RAD (Rapid Application Development) methodology, allowing for rapid iteration and refinement of the system through short design, implementation and testing cycles. In each iteration, specific requirements were identified and addressed, ensuring that the system meets the needs of Vivero Michita. The prototype also includes a mobile application that provides a user-friendly and accessible interface for the user, allowing control and monitoring of the irrigation system. This application connects to an accessible database, which stores and manages all relevant information about irrigation and plant status, facilitating informed and timely decision making.

    Sistema web aplicando arquitectura Serverless para automatizar la gestión financiera de la microempresa “Zomi”

    En la actualidad se ha incrementado el uso de las tecnologías dentro del área financiera lo que ha permitido automatizar procesos y gestionar las operaciones financieras de una organización. La mayoría de las empresas y negocios cuentan con aplicaciones o dispositivos tecnológicos que ayudan al desempeño de las actividades de la organización con el fin de optimizar tiempos y recursos de ejecución. El objetivo de este proyecto es la implementación de un sistema web usando la arquitectura serverless en la microempresa ZOMI con el fin de automatizar la gestión financiera y almacenar los datos de cada transacción de forma efectiva dentro de las áreas de ventas, compras e inventario, y así obtener una información más precisa y actualizada que se puede obtener en cualquier momento. Además, se evita el uso de hojas de papel o cuadernos para llenar esta información ya que el sistema web es muy fácil de manejar. El sistema web se desarrolló utilizando la metodología XP, donde las entrevistas realizadas al personal y la interacción con los mismos ayudaron a facilitar el desarrollo de las actividades necesarias para el sistema web, esto además permitió organizar de forma adecuada los tiempos de desarrollo. Para el desarrollo de la arquitectura serverless se trabajó con el proveedor de la nube AWS, que tiene como referencia la parte de backend como, por ejemplo: DynamoDB, Funciones Lambdas y API Gateway que son los principales recursos que se utilizó para el desarrollo del sistema web.

    Sistema web y móvil para la sistematización de la gestión administrativa y de asambleas del conjunto habitacional “El Portal de la Viña”

    The “El Portal de la Viña” housing complex consists of 303 residences, which makes it difficult for the board of directors to control the administrative processes, giving rise to challenges in the management of parking spaces, calls, and in treasury, since these processes are carried out manually. This project implements a web management system along with a mobile application to systematize the administrative and financial processes of the housing complex. In addition, geolocation is used as a mechanism to verify attendance and voting at assemblies. To do this, the Haversine formula is used to accurately calculate the distance between the resident’s location and the assembly point, thus ensuring that only those present can participate in the votes. The housing complex management system includes modules for the administration of owners, residences, payments, calls, guardianship, and parking. Modern technologies such as Angular and Ionic frameworks were used for the web and mobile client, respectively. For the development of the application programming interface (API), the Spring Boot framework was used along with PostgreSQL as a database manager. The validation of the implemented system was carried out by applying the technology acceptance model (TAM) to the residents of the housing complex, resulting in a positive acceptance of the proposed system. The implementation of this system is expected to improve efficiency and transparency in the administration of the housing complex.

    Software como servicio (SaaS) para la gestión de inventarios en las Pymes del Cantón Ambato

    Hoy en día, con el continuo crecimiento de las Pequeñas y medianas empresas (Pymes), ha surgido la necesidad de que puedan acceder a información desde cualquier lugar y en cualquier momento, como consecuencia se han visto forzadas a invertir gran cantidad de dinero y esfuerzo para mitigar estos requerimientos. Es ahí donde surge la necesidad de hacer uso del Cloud Computing, puesto que permite acceder a través de internet a recursos tales como hardware, plataformas de desarrollo y servicios fácilmente. Con ello, surgen modelos de servicio en nube como: infraestructura como servicio (IaaS) en donde el proveedor se encarga de administrar los recursos como almacenamiento, red, virtualización de servidores, Plataforma como servicio (PaaS) ofrece el soporte para el desarrollo de aplicaciones y finalmente el software como servicio (SaaS) que es en donde se despliegan las aplicaciones a ser prestadas y son usadas por los usuarios finales En la ciudad de Ambato, las Pymes que poseen sistemas de gestión de inventarios tradicionales, están limitadas a revisar información únicamente dentro de la empresa, lo que causa que al realizar el abastecimiento de productos exclusivamente lo realice dentro de la misma, Lo antes mencionado se resume en que las Pymes inviertan en un sistema de control de inventarios, ocasionando la dependencia con el proveedor del software además por el alto costo, no todas puedan adquirir software que automatice las transacciones del negocio, viéndose obligadas a realizar los procesos de forma manual, ocasionando que su competitividad sea baja
