    Diseño de Calzado slip-on femenino mediante la utilización de materiales reciclados en la ciudad de Ambato

    The fashion industry causes damage to the environment as the second most polluting factor in the world because of the fast production of clothing. Sustainability becomes a trend where designers create brands of garments and accessories, so that society is inclined towards responsible consumption, in this way ethical fashion is a way of life. Therefore, with the integrating project: "Design of female slip-on footwear using recycled materials in the city of Ambato", the objective is to be part of a responsible society with the environment and the workers. By giving options to the consumer and demonstrating that there are sustainable consumption alternatives. The project is innovative because it uses the textile material considered to be of no use. The methodology used is qualitative and quantitative through the preparation of consumer preference questionnaires that are tabulated later, all this process serves to know the tastes of the customer according to colors, textiles among others, but at the same time Verify that slip-on footwear has acceptance in the target group. The documentary Bibliographic method is used, to provide punctual theories of authors and thus to have a clear vision of the related terms of the different variables of the subject, especially investigate the different recycled materials applied to fashion, such as paper, metal, PVC canvas and used clothing. In order to verify that the slip-on footwear has acceptance in the society we investigate different sports brands like: Adidas, Nike, Vans, Puma, Reebok, Diadora, Umbro, Topper that all have in their products slip-on footwear this determines that it is A shoe accepted by consumers at the same time inquires at macro, meso and micro level on how important is responsible consumption, it is determined that there is an importance for the acquisition of products friendly to nature, for this reason creates the brand JESS that proposes as a vision to make quality footwear, comfortable, with designs according to the season and lead a process of responsible production with both nature and workers. It is proposed marketing mix strategies especially emphasizing how the product will be promoted as it is in the radio, social networks and the blog of the brand, a collection is realized where the use of recycled materials extracted from the Used clothing and remnants of PVC canvas, a PU sole is used for better cushioning at the same time a double-layer sponge with small holes is applied to provide greater comfort to the foot that allows the perspiration, the product is worked with Artisan hands, to encourage appreciation of manual labor and especially to be done in Ecuador.
