    This research, coding information in cognition of the subject of Natural Sciences students basic general education Middle school Juan Espín, was applied with a total sample of students that make education half of the institution, where it has been observed that if affects cognition in students the content transmitted by teachers in the area of Natural Sciences. Provided that cognition of students varies, hence the teacher must know the element with which account to implement strategies with a successful methodology or active work techniques and get all students accepted to maintain a level of knowledge to improve their academic performance in the area indicated.
