    The SMEs dedicated to the textile activity of the city of Pelileo have been a key factor for the development of this canton since it has been characterized by the quality and variety of clothing products made in jeans that are marketed throughout the country. However, at present SMEs have a low level of productivity because the quality tools used for process control are not adequate, so it is necessary to take corrective actions to improve the quality of their products. For this reason, the present research project is developed to identify the types of control carried out by SMEs and to analyze the influence of the quality control of the processes on their productivity, in order to optimize the production processes for Decrease waste and waste of time. The study was carried out through field research, through a survey of a representative number of 25 SMEs in the urban textile sector of the city of Pelileo, directed to the manager and chief of production, giving a total of 50 people surveyed, with which Sought to identify information related to quality control in the processes and productivity of SMEs. With this, the aim is to propose a quality control model in the processes that allow to increase the productivity of the textile companies of the city of Pelileo and thus to obtain more efficient processes.
