The objective of this project is to create a company that is dedicated to the production of fine stationery, in which the techniques of graphic design specifically for advertising have been applied by using design techniques such as lettering and calligraphy. These techniques bring the added values required for the commercialization of fine stationery in the city of Latacunga. Fine stationery is an indispensable element for the planning of social events, which is used to suggest or give a clear idea of the type of celebration for which one is being invited. This is the reason why the design aspect should be as innovative and as effective as possible, and not outdated or over-used. For the execution of this project, a market study was previously conducted with the aim of determining the characteristics and preferences of potential consumers of fine stationery. Furthermore, the study defined the existing competition where this undertaking was to be established and provided strategies and a plan of action necessary to kick start the creation of this company. By taking advantage of the opportunities determined by this study one can attempt to generate a new concept of fine stationery and try to find a balance between the graphic and the textual in order to offer the public a unique and inovative product.
