Carrera de Ingeniería en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2022-09) Zúñiga Sánchez, Kevin Sebastián; Altamirano Meléndez, Santiago MauricioTechnological advances in the field of poultry farming allow better results in production, so the Damiancito farm needs to implement an automatic process at the stage of raising laying hens, therefore, this research project intention to implement a wireless control and monitoring system for the supervision of the technical parameters of the laying hens rearing house, using LoRa and MQTT technology. This project develops the design and implementation of a wireless control and monitoring system for the supervision of the technical parameters of the laying hens rearing house at Damiancito farm. For the fulfillment of this project, we start with the electronic and electrical design., for which devices that fit the needs of the shed are required; consequently, the electronic elements in charge of generating instructions and acquiring data, and the electrical elements in charge of the activation or deactivation of the actuators. For the operation of the wireless control and monitoring system of the poultry shed, three nodes have been implemented: the sensor node in charge of acquiring the temperature, humidity and ammonia data, the central node in charge of generating the instructions, data processing and LoRa communication, the receiver node in charge of connecting to the server and allowing the visualization of the data and the control of the parameters in the HMI. The result will be a reliable and efficient system that will improve the uniformity indexes of the hens, the mortality and the index of hens descried at the end of the rearing stage.
