Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2021-03) Casanova Reyes, Marlon Santiago; Ortega Arcos, Wagner EnriqueThe research work presents an analysis of the responses collected through an interview with communication people who carries out their professional practice in this pandemic time. The objective is to show the reality that our journalists live when they cover relevant COVID-19 news in the different provinces of the country, through questions that collect their anecdotes and experiences that they live day by day in the realization of the professional exercise that has led to search ways to face it without affecting their life, health and their relatives. The data obtained was based on qualitative analysis relating it to the existing research on the virus that changed the live of Ecuadorians and the entire world. It is recounted how the media in this time of health emergency have fought against the Government for the dissemination and manipulation of information. The analysis and interpretation of the results of the information collected is described, through an interview consisting of seven questions in which information is collected about the challenges that our communication professionals have faced in order not to get COVID-19, it is analyzed their responses and are encouraged to put investigative journalism into practice. As a result, it is recommended to use communicative research, through the question-answer analysis that was used in the matrices of each interview, with this, it is positively influenced that the comunication sources follow their style; producing, generating quality and easy to understand reports.
