The present investigation was carried out with the objective of knowing the high rates of musculoskeletal pathologies in the public and private health units of the canton Salcedo in the period of January 2015 June 2016; Thanks to this research, it was possible to know the most common pathologies in the canton Salcedo, the procedure consisted in going to the existing health centers in the Canton, later the pertinent procedures were done to obtain the required information once the data had been obtained the tabulation began and It was possible to identify the following: the most relevant pathology is neuralgia and neuritis not specified with 8% that make up 794 people, later lumbago with sciatica with a percentage of 7.8% that equals 782 people; The pathologies with lower musculoskeletal prevalence are: arthritis in other viral diseases elsewhere, arthritis in other infectious and parasitic diseases classified elsewhere, non-specified reactive arthropathy, this research will serve as an information base for new research and to be able to design strategies of nature Preventative measures that improve the state of life of the
