    The present case study was performed in a 58-year-old male, working in constructions, with a history of controlled hypertension for 8 years, and cardiomegaly. The patient suffers a traffic accident as a co-pilot with multiple fractures. He is treated in the emergency area of the IESS Ambato Hospital where he was classified as an orange patient and treated for shoulder fractures, multifragmentary olecranon, distal phalanx of 2nd and 4th finger of the upper right limb, resulting in functional limitation. We analyzed the patient's picture motivated to find serious functional limitations, so we sought the probable causes, as well as identified the risk factors, the critical points describing the opportunities and actions of improvement and finally proposes a plan of complementary physiotherapeutic treatment to achieve the recovery of functional capacities.

    The following clinical case analysis is presented in a 27 years old patient who suffers a traffic accident in the lower right leg presenting delay in the consolidation of diaphyseal fracture of the tibia and multifragmentary fibula one year after the months. The delay in the consolidation of the tibia fracture and the loss of factors contributing to it: the biological factor due to an infection phlebitis, smoking, as well as other factors such as: lack of care in Public Health house not to affiliated, not provide the patient with adequate information about his pathology, not comply with the indications given by the specialist physician on the part of the patient , delay in obtaining a shift for rehabilitation , not comply with protocols Attention The Ministry of Public Health.
