Item Incidencia de esguince de tobillo en corredores de trarunning del club Tungurahua adventure team(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Terapia Física, 2020-08-01) Caicedo Cobo, Pedro Fernando; Cárdenas Medina, Jorge HumbertoThe present research focuses on determining the incidence of ankle sprain is trail running runners of the Tungurahua Adventure Team club, considering that this is a relatively new sport and that it is having a great growth in recent years and that it is a sport that has a great variety of competition modalities as well as many types of terrain and surfaces on which this practice takes place. Within the sample population that was taken for this study there are a number of 60 athletes of which 34 of them meet the eligibility model there, applying a calculation estimate formula a final sample of 23 respondents remained. Once the surveys that were carried out during three weeks were carried out, it is visualized that the sprain is very present in the practice of trail running since 14 people 9 of them presented an ankle sprain, of this number 14 people suffered it once, 5 people suffered it more than once and only four did not suffer it. It was observed that in the period from March to June of the year 2017 there were 54 military men who attended musculoskeletal disorders of the ankle, 94.4% were male, the groups with the highest frequency of disorders were the military from 24 to 30 years and (n = 17), those with the lowest frequency presented ankle injuries were those older than 40 years with 7.4% (n = 4), the instructors had a higher prevalence of (n = 26), sprain with 57.4% (n = 31) was the most prevalent pathology, we conclude that military instructors are the ones that most frequently presented with muscle disorders skeletal with a representation close to half of the cases is to say that for every 2 military men with musculoskeletal disorders one is an instructor, it should also be noted that the drivers also presented a considerable percentage, while being personal health or armourer may be considered a low risk position for musculoskeletal disorders of the ankle and the most frequent pathologies were ankle sprain and aquiline tendonitis, the pathologies with lesser representation were ankle contusion, calcaneus fracture and traumatism of the ankle. The purpose is to find out the incidence of ankle sprain grade II and to set up a protocol of treatment for every individual player who shows this pathology. This will benefit all non-amateur soccer players who can get hurt easily and in some cases very frequently. Important parameters were set for the development of the work, since the research is a quantitative approach was used the evaluation of Edema and Visual Analogue Scale (EVA), last to collect the information is the Observation Sheet to continue its treatment. Mg.The aim of the research project was to determine the epidemiological profile of musculoskeletal injuries of the knee and ankle in personnel of the Armed Forces. In the last decades, the physical exigency of the military service has increased, being the physical training an activity that is practiced within the working hours with the purpose of obtaining a high level of physical aptitude, implementing different ways of working the body and thus generate The optimal development of the same. Plasty aims to modify or rebuild the deformed structure, in this case the ligament is rarely used surgical treatment for ankle instability in patients who are not athletes. Ankle instability experienced by the patient is a consequence of several factors that contributed to the production of the same: the biological factor due to a skin infection, their academic activities that did not allow appropriate treatment is made, but we must also name other background that influenced the complication of the disease such as improper diagnosis, lack of complementary examinations, the delay in obtaining a turn to a specialist and especially the lack of information to the patient's pathology suffered and not the physical therapy is done on time and properly.
