Carrera de Diseño de Espacios Arquitectónicos., 2022-09-16) Rosero Guamán, Yadira Sarahí; Viteri Medina, Galo AlejandroThe Flower and Fruit Festival is considered one of the most important celebrations of the country, declared as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ecuador, being part of the cultural identity of the ambateños. It is also an expression of the will and fervor of its inhabitants, who rose up after the catastrophe of 1949. Taking advantage of the beauty and fertility offered by the land, this traditional celebration arose. This research project focuses on defining interior design strategies based on this festivity, with the purpose of generating ephemeral spaces that allow cultural diffusion in the city of Ambato. For which a qualitative and quantitative research approach was proposed, using information collected through interviews with the experience of various specialists and experts on the subject, and surveys of the Ambato population. In addition to information gathered from various bibliographic references, documents, files, etc. The result projects the use of the most important symbolic elements of the Flower and Fruit Festival; the Parade of the Confraternity and the Blessing of the flowers, fruits, and bread, will be in charge of directing the form and function to each one of the spaces that will be proposed.Item Regeneración urbana de la línea férrea Batallón Cóndor del barrio San Vicente con fines de fortalecer la difusión del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Diseño de Espacios Arquitectónicos., 2022-03-17) Sánchez Grefa, Itaty Mishell; Reinoso Naranjo, Valeria CarolinaThe present research project seeks to generate and conserve the green areas of the Condor Battalion Railway Line in the San Vicente neighborhood, in order to strengthen the tourist and cultural identity of the canton of Ambato in an area with tourist and historical characteristics, through the review of case studies and documentary material. Therefore, the possible causes for which the space is in a state of degradation will be analyzed, through data collection techniques and observation sheets, for which a methodology based on a qualitative and quantitative approach will be used. As a result, the Urban Regeneration of the site will be proposed, through the implementation of a modular linear park in the sector of the Condor Battalion railroad line of the San Vicente neighborhood with new concentrations of multifunctional equipment such as lighting, urban furniture and vernacular landscaping that will in turn positively impact the area, which will focus on recovering the cultural history of the place, highlighting it´s historical aspects that have endured for years.Item Diseño interior de espacios interactivos en el museo de la Mama Negra como estrategia para fortalecer la difusión del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial del Cantón Latacunga(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. The objective of this project is the implementation of interactive spaces in the museum of Mama Negra, located in Latacunga cantón, as a strategy for cultural difusión, Therefore, the project will describe the most important elements and characteristics of the festival for the creation of the concept with wich and innovative space will be created through the interior design, the inclusión of technology and the technological tools, for the exhibition of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. Carrera de Diseño de Espacios Arquitectónicos., 2020-10-01) Escudero Vásconez, Cristhian Sebastian; López Ulloa, Fabián SantiagoThis research project analyzes various issues regarding the identity and evolution of the orchard-garden of the city of Ambato in the province of Tungurahua, in which an attempt is made to define a patio-garden typology based on a contextual, bibliographic study and documentary. The importance of this research focuses on identifying the necessary elements for the inclusion of an interior gardening module that is used as a means of obtaining ornamental, medicinal and fruit plants at the community level, promoting the use of plant species originating in the city in order to strengthen the identity of the land of flowers and fruits. The field research was carried out by collecting observation files of heritage buildings within a 30-block area of action in the urban area of the city, while the collection of information was carried out through interviews with professionals from the environment. Finally, for the development of the proposal for the interior gardening module, the Desing thinking methodology was used, where information was obtained on the link between the garden and food production, through parameters and strategies, solutions were applied that are applied in the proposal. , with the aim of contributing to the development of local production of plant species and strengthening community gardening.Item Materiales vernáculos en el diseño interior de la vivienda contemporánea del cantón Patate(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Diseño de Espacios Arquitectónicos., 2020-08) Reinoso Caicedo, Jennifer Andrea; Goyes Balladares, Andrea CristinaThis research project is part of the study of contemporary housing and materials of Patate canton, used in the vernacular or local architecture. They have various forms and characteristics, due to the four regions that the country owns, its climate and culture. The vernacular materials reflect the response of the edification to the environment, where natural resources are harnessed to the maximum and in turn, communicates social demonstrations such as history, identity and culture, expressions that are evident in the vernacular architecture that still exists in Patate. However, with the passing of time, technological and construction progress has replaced the vernacular with conventional materials as cement, iron, polymers, among others, due to little interest and little knowledge about the materials and their applications. It is here that the need to analyze the materials of the area, which are a fundamental for the population, which is why it is of great importance to recognize and rescue them, because they contribute to cultural identity and offer a great contribution to the sustainability of the environment reducing the use of polluting materials. Thus, also arises the need to analyze the applications of vernacular materials in the interior design of contemporary housing to promote innovative designs, which express identity and in turn enhance the work of the craftsmen of the canton. This is why this research project makes it possible to understand the importance of the vernacular materials and their possible applications in the interior design of contemporary housing.
