Ft. Mg.This research is carried out with the objective of finding what the effects of basal stimulation are in older adults in gait and balance problems. It is quasi-experimental, the population was 26 older adults, the average age was 75 years among men and women. A somatic, visual and vestibular stimulation protocol was designed, this was applied three sessions per week with a duration of 20 minutes, for a total of 36 interventions. The initial and final evaluation was carried out with the Tinetti scale, the results generated show that basal stimulation is a helpful method for balance and gait problems and for the reduction of risk of falls in older adults.
