Item Facilitación Neuromuscular Propioceptiva aplicada a trabajadores de fábricas de lácteos con dolor de espalda baja(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Centro de Posgrados, 2023-07-06) Pérez Castro, Cemira Michelle; Ortiz Villalba, Paola GabrielaLow back pain, associated with work, is considered a very frequent musculoskeletal disorder, generating alterations, limitations, injuries and even states of temporary and permanent disability, which disturb the health of those who suffer from it, as well as the productivity of the company.; Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation is one of the most effective physiotherapy treatments, although its efficacy has not yet been measured in dairy factory workers. In this way, in the present study, it was proposed to establish the efficacy of the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation technique in reducing low back pain in workers in dairy factories, through a comparative study between longitudinal cohort groups of 25 who met the criteria. Inclusion and exclusion criteria; randomly assigned to group A that applied PNF (n=13) and group B that was the control group (n=12). An initial assessment was made and a final assessment 12 weeks later, where pain intensity, associated disability index and quality of life were measured. The results indicated significant differences between significant measures (p < 005) for the group that applied FNP, and in the comparison between groups, significant differences were found after the application of the protocol (p < 005) in all the variables. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of a PNF protocol in dairy factory workers is effective in reducing pain, disability associated with non-specific low back pain, and improving quality of life.
