Item Comportamiento de la cinética folicular en ovejas sincronizadas con diferentes hormonas liberadoras de gonadotropinas(2018) Acuña Hinojosa, Darwin Dario; Aragadvay, GonzaloThe present work was carried out on the farm of the Technical University of Ambato. The objective of the present investigation was to analyze follicular kinetics, in sheep synchronized with different types of gonadotropin-releasing hormones: treatment 1 (buserelin) (T1), and treatment 2 (gonadorelin) (T2), for this twelve sheep were used. the entire 4M from an average age of two to four years divided into two groups. The animals were housed in individual pens, and were fed with an experimental diet that met their nutritional requirements, in addition a transitive period of adaptation and preparation using prostaglandins was performed to synchronize estrus. Daily scans were performed using an ultrasound (7.5 MHz) adapted for veterinary use with a rigid plastic handle adapted to the rectal route. Two OVSYNCH synchronization protocols were handled, differing the days of the application of prostaglandin (T1) 0, 7, 9 and (T2) 0, 6, 9 in which, once the treatments were finished after 24 hours, service was given to animals. The size that was determined in follicular growth at the end of the experimental period between (T1) and (T2): was 0.28 mm (p = 0.146), which showed that there was no significant effect between hormones. Regarding the levels of 17-β-estradiol and percentage of nuclear polymorphs, no significant differences were observed. It is concluded that the size of the follicle at the beginning of the treatment exerts a marked effect on a new follicular wave, regardless of the type of GnRH analogue (buserelin and gonadorelin) that is used in the synchronization of sheep.
