    Introduction: Traditional midwives support humanized delivery care, allowing women in labor to control the situation and make their own decisions. Objective: to analyze the experiences of puerperal women during home birth assisted by a midwife. Method: A basic type investigation was used by means of a qualitative phenomenological exploratory type design with the application of semi-structured interviews, and an intentional non-probalistic sampling, the data was interpreted by means of a hermeneutic type analysis. Conclusion: Experiences were identified in the psychological, personal, family, customs, attitude, and confidence.
