Item Violencia intrafamiliar y autoestima en los estudiantes de bachillerato durante la pandemia Covid-19(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Enfermería, 2023-06-09) Vega Salinas, Katy Jamile; Jiménez Hurtado, William AndrésThe appearance of Covid-19 generated a series of measures to counteract the spread of the disease worldwide, confinement and social distancing served to a large extent to minimise the impact, however, the isolation generated a high rate of domestic violence in the population and the appearance of low levels of self-esteem. Therefore, it is important to analyze the level of domestic violence and self-esteem in students due to the pandemic. The methodology used for the sample is stratified, with the finite sample formula, the use of SPSS statistical software to evaluate the relevance of the questions, and measurement scales to measure self-esteem and domestic violence in the students of the Huasimpamba Educational Unit. The research showed that all the questions are relevant in both questionnaires, since the p-value is greater than 0.05. Furthermore, 2.2% have a high level of domestic violence and 49.4% have high self-esteem. In several researches developed in the context of the pandemic situation, it was shown that the after-effects of quarantine are domestic violence, mental disorders and low self-esteem.
