    INSTRUMENTO PARA LA VALORACIÓN DE LA ACTUACIÓN DE LOS PROFESIONALES DE ENFERMERÍA EN LA ATENCIÓN PRIMARIA EN SALUD DE LA DIABETES MELLITUS

    Introduction: According to the WHO, diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or the body does not effectively use the insulin it produces. Objective: Design an instrument that allows for the assessment of nursing performance in Diabetes Mellitus in primary care. Method: Research with a quantitative approach, experimental, descriptive and transversal design. Development of an instrument to determine its reliability and content validity. The sample used for the evaluation of internal reliability was made up of 10 patients diagnosed with diabetes mellitus who are treated in the health centers of zone 3 belonging to the Pelileo Canton, Province of Tungurahua, who agreed to collaborate with the research, to check the understanding of the questions and the operation of the instrument. Internal consistency was determined through the calculation of Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. Results: Expert professionals in the subject of diabetes mellitus assessed the pertinence, relevance and clarity of the 20 items divided into 4 dimensions, qualifying them as applicable. The internal consistency of Cronbach's Alpha was 0.97; which demonstrates that the formulation of the items is reasonable, satisfactorily defined and is suitable in the presence of the questionnaire. Conclusions. The results obtained to evaluate the instrument and the application of the pilot test were adequate. This instrument is valid and reliable, which justifies its use in the research field. The instrument is easy and quick to apply, allowing us to know the perception of patients with Diabetes Mellitus about the care received by the nursing staff in the PHC.

    Introduction: Blood hypertension (HTA) is a disorder in which blood vessels persistently have high blood pressure and affects more than 1280 million adults in the world. Objective: Design and measure the reliability of an instrument to evaluate the performance of nursing professionals in primary health care: arterial hypertension Method: Quantitative approach, experimental design, descriptive and transversal. Development of an instrument to determine its reliability and validity of content. The sample used for the evaluation of internal reliability was composed of 10 patients diagnosed with arterial hypertension who are treated in health centers in zone 3 belonging to the province of Cotopaxi of Salcedo canton who agreed to collaborate with the investigation, check the comprehension of the questions and the operation of the instrument. Internal consistency was determined by calculating Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. Results: Experts on the topic of arterial hypertension evaluated the relevance, relevance, and clarity of the 20 items divided into 4 dimensions, qualifying them as applicable. The internal consistency of Cronbach’s Alpha was 0.96, which shows that the formulation of the items is reasonable, satisfactorily defined and is adequate in the presence of the questionnaire. Conclusions. The results obtained to evaluate the instrument and the application of the pilot were adequate. This instrument is valid and reliable, which justifies its use in research.     “Construcción de formato de enfermería para la mejora de la metodología de enseñanza aprendizaje del proceso de atención de enfermería”

    The research project with the theme "Construction of nursing format for the improvement of the teaching-learning methodology of the nursing care process" which was carried out in the nursing career of the UTA, whose main objective is "Elaborate and validate an appropriate format that allows the improvement of the teaching-learning process in the students of the nursing career ". The type of research was quantitative, therefore, sampling is not applied since it works with the total population, in which nursing graduates who work as teachers in this institution participated, applying the assessment format to students from the fourth semester to the ninth semester of the nursing career of the academic year September 2018-February 2019. The validation survey was applied to the teachers of the race, after the format was applied to the students who meet the requirements and knowledge necessary to develop said assessment instrument. When performing the association of variables it was determined that the validation and application of the P.A.E. format, helps to improve the teaching-learning process, since it is an instrument that helps students to have critical, analytical and logical thinking, it also influences the daily work as nurses, and when applying the statistical test not for chi-square metric the hypothesis is accepted, concluding that the assessment format of the nursing care process is applicable for the improvement of the teaching-learning methodology in the nursing career of the Technical University of Ambato.
