    Currently, society is going through a series of events that have generated a series of problems that have impeded social coexistence, people have mainly been affected by a pandemic that seems to have no near end, it has forced us to remain confined in our Homes together with our family and pets, during this pandemic the most vulnerable have been identified as: children, the elderly, but why have not pets been considered vulnerable subjects? This project focuses on giving greater importance to the pets we have at home, which always require our attention and depend on us to meet their needs and have a good quality of life. The first part of the project is focused on the bibliographic investigation of whether domestic animals can become infected or become infected with COVID-19, addressing this problem is the use of Editorial Design supported by Graphic Design and Visual Communication, as study resources. Developing an analysis, the research generated the result of informational and awareness raising digital editorial products, combining the use of images, typography and colors, as potential communication resources for the development of proposals.

    Diseño editorial y el aprendizaje de las tradiciones orales del pueblo indígena Tomabela, en niños de séptimo de educación básica de la UE Intercultural Bilingüe Huayna Capac

    The main objective of this research work was to analyze the prevalence of cultural and traditional content among children in seventh grade of basic education of the UE Intercultural Bilingual Huayna Capac, where a qualitative and descriptive approach was used, according to the research methodology. Where it is called triangulation analysis, source analysis was also carried out, with the aim of integrating the main ideas of the interviewees. The interview was applied to three professionals who participate in the area of design and two professionals in the area of educational psychology. The main findings show that the dissemination of cultural content focuses efforts on the information contained in editorial design, as well as in digital media. In short, the usefulness of illustrated books as a tool for disseminating culture and tradition among children in the seventh grade of basic education in the UE Intercultural Bilingual Huayna Capac is seen as a viable alternative, created specifically to capture their attention.

    The dissertation take a look at the characteristics and elements of editorial design that favor the creation of graphic material aimed at assisting recreational therapies (classification of Non-Pharmacological Therapies 'TNF') that focus on the cognitive, behavioral and functional aspects of a patient with first stage or mild stage of Alzheimer's disease, through research conclusions are acquire that are applied in a kit composed of different didactic materials with the objective of being applied in the ‘Centro Sagrado Corazón de Jesús de la ciudad de Ambato – Ecuador.

    Diseño editorial y el aprendizaje de la lógica matemática de niños en etapa operacional

    This research project tries to determine the influence that Editorial Design has on the learning processes of mathematical logic in children at the operational stage in Esmeraldas city. Moreover, this project was carried out in order to establish the parameters derived from the editorial design which can contribute significantly in the preparation of the didactic material used by teachers and consequently improve the teaching-learning cycle in public institutions. To develop the present research, it was necessary to collect bibliographic information from books and scientific articles. In addition, the whole investigation was contrasted with interviews directed to experts in education and design, allowing to verify the importance of didactic material for the learning process, and to corroborate the relevance of editorial design for the assimilation of knowledge, as well. Through the investigation, it was possible to notice the editorial deficiencies that the textbooks currently used present. Moreover, these problems were the basis for establishing the most suitable parameters for the development of educational material directed to children, with the only purpose of motivating and stimulating learning through the correct and efficient handling of editorial elements.
