    Textiles inteligentes y su aplicación en la indumentaria para los deportes extremos acuáticos en Baños de Agua Santa

    The project aims to implement specific clothing for people who practice extreme acuatic sports in the canton of Baños de Agua Santa, focused on the use of smart fabrics complementing the functionality of conventional neoprene suits, improving usage conditions, comfort, and satisfaction that the client has at the time of developing their activities with the wetsuits clothing. The object of this project was to develop a functional, structured and fashionable product that has innovative local designs, taking in consideration the abiotic environment conditions, implementing smart fabrics that will permit the proper body mobility, that were waterproof and made of antimicrobial quality materials. This will help customers to carry out their sports activities with confidence, safety and comfort. The garments were developed with suitable materials such as the classic high flexibility and high temperature resistance Neoprene, and the elastic properties and its wide variety of colors that the Spandex has; also complemented with intelligent textiles that provide security since they are Cecoguard FG, which is repellent to water and oils, Saraguarde 5700, which is an antimicrobial that kills mold, microbes and fungi. The methodology used in the project was given through a field investigation, by the use of surveys and interviews, allowing the study of the customer's preferences at the time of practicing sport activities. This surveys provided enough information to get to know how much the customers were pleased with the products, and also to be always in on the new trends. With this knowledge we could implement it in the designs and complete the research with the bibliographical sources.
