RIESGO DE ADICCIÓN A LAS REDES SOCIALES Y RESILIENCIA EN ADOLESCENTES

Addiction to social networks is characterized by uncontrolled behavior that drives people to be connected to these platforms for long periods of time, while resilience refers to a person's ability to positively overcome the adversities that arise in life. These variables are currently relevant in adolescents, so the aim of the study was to determ i n e the relationship between social network addiction and resilience in adolescents. The study used a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design and correlational scope, with a cross-sectional cut. The instrument used to assess social network addiction was the Social Network Addiction Questionnaire (SNA) and the Resilience Questionnaire for Children and Adolescents was used to measure resilience. After analyzing the results, it was found that there was no relationship between the variables. In addition, it was found that in addiction to social networks a low level predominated with 61.3% while, in resilience a high level prevailed with 82.1%, finally in addiction to social networks no significant differences were found between the sexes.
