    COMPARACIÓN DE LA PRUEBA DE LA Y INSTRUMENTADA Y NO INSTRUMENTADA PARA LA ESTABILIDAD DE MIEMBRO INFERIOR EN POBLACIÓN SANA

    The present project was carried out with the purpose of comparing the instrumented and non-instrumented Y test for lower limb stability in a healthy population. The methodology of the study was a non-experimental design of cross-sectional type and quantitative approach, using the YBT - LQ instrumented and non-instrumented test in two weights (light and heavy). This evaluation was carried out with the participation of 100 healthy people from the parish La Matriz of the Pelileo canton who practiced sports such as soccer, basketball and volleyball. The results of this research showed a high correlation between both light (p=0.673) and heavy (p=0.654) versions. However, the heavy version presented slightly higher scores than the light version. The light version was similar to the results of the instrumented version. In conclusion, the noninstrumented YBT-LQ test in the heavy version as well as the light version show a significant relationship with the instrumented version of the YBT-LQ test.
