Incidencia de la Incontinencia Urinaria en Deportistas

This research aimed to know the incidence of urinary incontinence in athletes, one of the usual and most referenced in scientific literature ICIQ- SF questionnaire was used, this is a questionnaire that is aimed at detecting symptoms of urinary incontinence in any care setting. This research is qualitative approach because surveys are used to determine the incidence of urinary incontinence in athletes as these will guide the understanding of the problem under study and discovery of the hypothesis. This research is descriptive as it is used to describe characteristics of the study population. It is also a studio survey as interviews and questionnaires to participants will be used. In the group that worked were 68 students who were administered the survey only once, ie it is a cross-sectional study, data were analyzed, tabulated and processed using descriptive and inferential statistics through the incidence rate which identifies the incidence of urinary incontinence in athletes. This was determined that there are 26 students who have presented episodes of urine loss, these account for 38.32% of the total study population.
