This work had the question of determining the risk of suffering musculoskeletal disorders in the shoe cutting personnel, since this is an industry that makes use of large amounts of human resources for the production of its products and the area of cutting of pieces for footwear is one of the most physically demanding. The study was carried out through the secondary data analysis of the DIDE Project "POSTURAL RISK EVALUATION SYSTEM USING KINECT 2.0 IN THE CUTTING ACTIVITY OF FOOTWEAR PRODUCTION FOR THE CALTU AMBATO" approved with Resolution HCU 0931-CU-P-2016 dated May 17, 2016, because once the Rula method was used by software, the risk of the job was determined but the musculoskeletal disorder that could develop was not known, and it is thus that taking into account the values obtained we can relate it to pathologies according to the prior knowledge of the researcher, to finally compare it with the project "RISK OF DEVELOPING MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS IN THE SHOE CUTTING STAFF EVALUATED THROUGH THE RULA METHOD" project in which the method was applied manually.
