Item Ejercicios Progresivos- Resistidos en Niños con Síndrome de Down para mejorar la Motricidad Gruesa(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud-Carrera Terapia Física, 2016-05-01) Vargas Vieira, Gabriela Alexandra; Moposita Campos, Angela Priscila Lic. Ft.This research aims to test the application of progresivos- resisted exercises to improve gross motor skills in children with Down syndrome, through a convenient sampling character involved in a group of 30 children with Down syndrome 6 to 12 years. For this research has been used Test Measurement of motor function, through which a detailed knowledge to improve adequately the movements that children are developed to activate the large muscles and thus facilitate balance was obtained, improving strength, mobility and speed of movement. The assessment was performed at baseline and at the end of the investigation, the results obtained have allowed to publicize that progressive - resistance exercises are effective in improving gross motor skills as these gradually increase your endurance, maintaining and improving the mineralization and cardiovascular muscle response.
