Music therapy is a support tool that is born from music and the positive changes it achieves in human beings, above all it allows the development of the areas: language and cognitive, achieving interactive communication between people, in addition, it contributes to brain plasticity in the first years of life. The objective of this research is to establish the level of language and cognitive development of 52 children from initial I and II in order to identify the criteria that allow the development of a music therapy guide. The research is descriptive and prospective since two evaluation instruments are applied: a.- "Battelle Development Inventory - Screening Test", which assesses the cognitive area, b.- "Abbreviated Development Scale - Nelson Ortiz" which assesses the language area and whose collected and analyzed results determine that there is more participation of girls than boys with a mean age of 49.59 months with a standard deviation of 5.49. 3.8% of those evaluated are in the "alert" range in language and in cognitive development, 84.6% are in the "not passed" items. In the area of language, a lower percentage of those evaluated obtained "alert" and the majority reached the "normal" level, on the contrary, in cognitive development, the majority is located in the "not exceeded" range and in the "exceeded" level. is a small number of participants; For the statistical data, the SPSS statistical system was used, using measures of central tendency and distribution. Due to the restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a post-test was not carried out, without a doubt, it is necessary to develop a music therapy guide to promote language and cognitive development.

Parenting styles are the knowledge, attitudes and beliefs that parents assume around health, nutrition, healthy physical and social environments, as well as their children's learning opportunities at home. The adoption of a particular parenting style may be mediated by demographic and socioeconomic factors, therefore, different parenting styles may or may not favor healthy eating behaviors in children that in the future reduce the risk of malnutrition, overweight, obesity and chronic non-communicable diseases. It is for this reason that the population under5 years of age is considered according to the Comprehensive Health Care Model as a priority attention group to which we must provide comprehensive health care. Objectives: to determine the parental styles of infant feeding and their relationship with the nutritional status of preschool children, to evaluate their nutritional status and to design an intervention plan that promotes healthy infant feeding styles. Methodology: It is a research has a quantitative, descriptive and prospective approach. For the calculation of the sample, the Sample Size Determination program was applied, conforming a sample of 120 people based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. For the analysis of the information, the IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 program will be used, where the variables based on Pearson's x2 were related. To obtain the data, the parenting practices questionnaire to Promote Health Habits in early childhood will be applied to caregivers and anthropometric measures will be taken for preschool children to evaluate their nutritional status.
