Item Síndrome de burnout y consumo de alcohol en funcionarios públicos(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2024-08-01) Toscano Toscano, Valeria Jasmin; Flores Hernández, Verónica Fernanda PHDThe research delved into the study of burnout syndrome, a mental condition that manifests itself through emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and cynicism, resulting from chronic stress generated in the work environment. Within the study, the risks associated with alcohol consumption and the possible consequences of its intake were examined, especially in the behavioral field. We sought to determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and alcohol consumption in public officials. To achieve the stated objectives, a quantitative approach is used, with a non-experimental design and correlational descriptive scope. A sample of 128 public officials, both men and women, aged between 24 and 56 years, was used. The instruments used were the AUDIT Questionnaire and the adapted Maslach Burnout Inventory General Survey (MBI-GS). Regarding alcohol consumption between men and women, there were statistically significant differences, with women being the ones with the highest risk of consumption. Finally, fulfilling the main objective of this research, it was found that there is compensation in two dimensions of burnout syndrome. DeAlcoholism is a chronic disease characterized by the excessive intake of alcoholic beverages, generating physical, psychological and public health problems. It is known that alcoholism is a complex pathology determined by genetic factors as well as the environment. Statistically significant results were obtained with associations for some of these genetic variants, where the genetic component explains 50% of the variability in the pattern of alcohol consumption. At present, multiple studies have been carried out to relate genetic polymorphisms with the predisposition to alcoholism. These factors include the rs1229984 polymorphism present in the Alcohol Dehydrogenase 1B (ADH1B) gene that codes for the Alcohol Dehydrogenase enzyme which catalyzes the first oxidation step from ethanol to acetaldehyde. In the present investigation, the rs1229984 polymorphism of the ADH1B gene was detected and its relation with the predisposition to alcohol consumption in control and alcoholic individuals of the province of Tungurahua. The population consisted of 50 patients who met the inclusion criteria. From a blood sample, the extraction of the genomic DNA was carried out, and the presence of the rs1229984 polymorphism was determined by means of the following techniques: The Polymerase Chain Reaction technique and restriction analysis (PCR-RFLP) using the enzyme MslI. The obtained results indicate that the frequency of the genotypes G/A was 5.6% (n=1) and the G/G of 94.4% (n=17), in the control group and for the cases the genotype G/A was 3.1% (n=1) and the 96.9% (n=31) for the remaining G/G genotype. It was determined that the rs1229984 polymorphism is not associated with the predisposition to alcohol consumption in the population studied. The consumption of alcoholic substances is very frequent in Ecuador, generating multiple consequences both in people’s health and in their social environment. For this reason, in this investigation, the polymorphism rs1800497 present in the DRD2-ANKK1 genes and its association with the predisposition to alcohol consumption in Tungurahua province was detected. The study included 50 individuals who met the inclusion criteria. In base of a blood simple, the extraction of the genomic DNA was performed, in these samples the presence of the polymorphism rs1800497 was determined by the techniques of Polymerase Chain Reaction and restriction analysis (PCR-RFLP) using the enzyme TaqI. The results obtained indicate that the frequency of the A+ is 75% by A1/A1 (21,9%), A1/A2 (53,1%) unlike the A- A2/A2 genotype with (25%). It was determined that the polymorphism rs1800497 is associated with predisposition to alcohol consumption in the population. It is known that there is a relationship between the predisposition to alcoholism and genetic factors, however, the environment plays a crucial role in the development of this disorder. The objective of this work was to detect the rs671 polymorphism present in the gene that codes for the enzyme aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 with the purpose of detecting whether or not there is an association with the predisposition to alcoholism in the population of Tungurahua province. The genomic DNA of 47 adult individuals who met the inclusion criteria were analyzed to whom psychological tests were applied, data were taken for the clinical history and signed the informed consent to participate in the study. These samples were analyzed using the polymerase chain reaction technique followed by restriction analysis with the TscAI enzyme. The results obtained indicate that there is a prevalence of the heterozygous G/A genotype with 95.0%, the wild homozygote G/G with 5.0% and 0.0% for the genotype A/A (mutated) in the population studied. However, no statistically significant differences were found between the case and control groups analyzed. In the present study, the Odds Ratio (OR) statistical estimator with a confidence interval of 95% was used; This is how we obtained (1C95 0.82-1.033, OR = 0.92) for the protective genotype and for Cases (1C95 0.46-0.782, OR = 0.60) in which no association was found between the presence of the rs671 polymorphism and the alcoholism. Mg.The following analysis was performed on the Liver Cirrhosis knowing that this disease is a major cause of morbidity and mortality as the main cause is excessive alcohol consumption and that eventually will go triggering irreversible damage to the body. The excessive intake of alcohol has complex conditioning factors (genetic, psychological, social and economic) as well as individual and social effects. Some of these effects are the result of acute intake (accidents, assaults, absenteeism, etc.) and others are produced by chronic intake. In the latter case various organs, highlighting the liver by their severity and frequency are affected. This case study was performed on a male patient 50 years old who started young with alcohol, could collect information interviewing you the patient and reviewing your medical history it has been very useful for this work. Information I was collected from the beginning of his illness until today. The case analysis was performed in order to identify problems in the patient and thus help improve your lifestyle and your home environment by implementing the already acquired knowledge and encouraging patient self-care.Item Análisis de caso de Enfermedades Inducidas por al Alcohol enfocado en la Intervención de Enfermería(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud-Carrera Enfermería, 2016-04-01) Velasco Unapucha, Ana Lucia; Herrera López, José Luis Lic. Mg.This analysis of clinical case was performed on liver cirrhosis because this pathology is considered a major public health problem worldwide that is a condition in which the liver slowly deteriorates still the main causes alcoholismo. In this research the case of a male patient, 62 years old, suffering from the same disease Hepatic Cirrhosis 3 years due to excessive alcohol consumption occurs. Information was collected from the beginning of the pathology to date, reviewing developments and conducting assessments of nursing with the aim to propose interventions that facilitate the improvement of the quality of life of the patient and the family. The disease started in the patient as a complicated abdominal pain with dyspnea, which was progressing so slowly affecting the daily life of the patient and preventing activities of daily living. For data collection was used the descriptive methodology and the data that are detailed in this paper were obtained from the clinical history and direct interview with the patient and family, is also recognized that literature, because it was based in the search, retrieval, analysis, criticism and interpretation of secondary data, that is, through a documentary and investigative information that will give you support and greater accuracy to the study conducted. This analysis was performed in order to identify the nursing process as a methodological tool which allows constantly improve the quality of care to patients that are aimed at maintaining the health of the people in all its dimensions: physical, mental and social and possibility of unifying the communication between professionals in this way meet the needs individuals, families and communities to problems actual or potential health through health promotion.
