    Acoso escolar y satisfacción familiar en estudiantes de bachillerato

    The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between bullying, known as the constant and intentional verbal mistreatment or abuse of power that a girl or boy receives from two or more individuals, and family satisfaction, defined as all the positive feelings that appear in the person when he or she is immersed in the family environment. The research was conducted on high school students, the study was of quantitative approach, descriptive correlational and cross-sectional type, in a sample of 142 students (72 males and 70 females). The tests used were the Cisneros Self-Test to measure bullying and the Family Satisfaction Scale by Adjectives to measure the construct of family satisfaction. The results showed that there is an indirect correlation of low intensity between bullying and family satisfaction (R=-0.348; p= < .001.); as for bullying the high level predominates (66.9%), followed by the very high level (33.1%) and, finally, in family satisfaction the medium level prevails (35.2%), followed by the very low level (23.2%) and the low level (16.9%). With regard to bullying and sex, no statistically significant differences were found. In conclusion, the higher the bullying scores, the lower the family satisfaction scores, thus proving the importance of family satisfaction as a protective factor against bullying in the students evaluated

    “Estudio comparativo del nivel de acoso escolar en estudiantes de una institucion pùblica y privada”

    The main objective of this research work was to compare the level of bullying in students of the private educational institution “La Inmaculada” belonging to the Ambato city, between students of the public educational institution “Pedro Fermín Cevallos” in the Cevallos city, through abuse scales physical and psychological, comprised in two representative instances such as the global index and intensity of harassment, and the levels of severity of clinical damage that harassed students possess, this cynical damage is evaluated by means of a set of symptoms, anxiety, stress post-traumatic, dysthymia, decreased self-esteem, flashbacks, somatizations, negative self-image and self-deprecation, providing a broad view on the current problem of school bullying in educational contexts, in this way the focus of the study is a quantitative design of comparative type. 160 students between the ages of 14 and 16 years of age who were attending tenth year of basic education were evaluated through the sociodemographic-socio-economic record and the IVE test of bullying and school violence of Iñaki and Piñuel to detect the level of bullying, its modalities such as physical, verbal and psychological abuse and the clinical scales that reveal the existence of psychological damage. The results of the research showed the presence of peer bullying in both institutions, however, it is in the public institution where more of these behaviors were recorded.

    Influencia del acoso y violencia escolar en la adaptación de conductas en los adolescentes en la unidad educativa mayor Ambato, de la ciudad de Ambato”

    This research work has as main objective to determine the correlation between family functioning and resilience factors in the aforementioned population, and what is sought is to investigate the incidence of the types of family functioning; functionality, moderate dysfunction, and severe with individual resilience factors such as dysfunctional; esteem, humor, creativity, self-concept, also sought to have a clear idea of the prevalence of family functionality and gender, for purposes of the investigation was considered appropriate to carry out the evaluation of 60 children who was administered the questionnaire Family APGAR to measure the level of functionality and inventory of personal resilience factors. After analyzing the results through statistical program SPSS.20 hypotheses was verified through chi-square and it was determined that family functioning is related positively with the factors of resilience in general and in each of the factors as lower values were obtained to 0.050. In addition, a 81.67 % of the total population has perceived his family as functional in terms of personal resilience factors, 33.33 % was obtained at high levels, the 51.66 % predominates in the middle level, and 15.00 % in low levels of resilience.
