    The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the alexithymia and the depression of the people deprived of liberty of the Center for Regional Social Rehabilitation Sierra Central Norte, population that will be the direct beneficiary, since the information obtained will allow the development of psychological programs that will contribute to the process of rehabilitation of the criminal population, in addition to the favoring for future research. The study was made up of forty people, who were evaluated through the Alexithymia Toronto Scale Consensus for Latin America, (LAC-TAS-20) and The Depression Inventory by Beck BDI–II, to evaluate the presence of alexithymia and the levels of depression respectively, for the analysis of the data, we used the statistical program SSPS and through the Chi-square statistical test was obtained a value less than the probability level (0.00 < p 0,05), verifying the existence of relationship between the two variables. The data obtained suggest that is necessary to implement psychological programs that contribute to the process of rehabilitation of the prison population and so to ensure a positive reintegration into society.

    This investigation has how object, analize the incidence of intrafamily relationships in depression in the aspirants of pólice of the Line Police Training School of the city of Baños, who will benefit from this research project that will allow us to know the importance of healthy intrafamily relationships in the affectivity, Knowing that the family is the safe environment of the individual and intra-family relationships are the connections that are made between the members of the family, these are divided into three dimensions union and support, dimension that refers to the tendency to carry out activities together, As well as the way to support one another, as well as the sense of family belonging and solidarity, the expression dimension, means how members of the family verbally communicate their emotions and ideas in an environment of respect and difficulty dimension, refers to negative aspects as well as problematic aspects within the family group. When a member of the family is in conflict, it can lead to different problems related to affectivity, one of the main pathologies is depression, for which the aspiring police officers were evaluated through two psychological reagents, such as the Scale (ERI), which consists of three dimensions: union and support, difficulty expression and the Beck Depression Inventory, this test allows quantifying the symptoms of depression present in the person at various levels: non-depression, mild depression, Moderate depression and severe depression. Reagents that allowed to verify the importance of the intrafamilial relations for the prevention of the depression. In addition, the SPSS statistical program was used for the analysis of the data obtained, and the chi-square test was applied, finding that statistically there is a relationship between the intra-family relations and depression, so the alternative hypothesis is accepted. when the.intra-family relationships are better, the lower the rates of depression, and therefore, it is necessary to promote intra-family relations of quality.
