In the present research work we have applied Reflexology integrated with conventional physical therapy, conducted at the Provincial General Hospital of Latacunga which is aimed at treating patients with cervicobrachial syndrome. The research has a sample of 50 people who had cervicobrachial syndrome, we perform to them a Visual Analog Scale (EVA) and a survey of Neck Disability Index (NDI) at the beginning and at the end of the treatment; so we can verify effectiveness of the Reflexology technique. It’s important to mention physical agents, which were applied within the same therapy with Reflexology, which are: Magnetic Field, Analgesic Electricity and Massage in the cervical area. Reflexology with physical therapy, had 15 sessions lasting 30 minutes each therapy for each patient, this way at the end of the treatment a decrease in pain was found with a significance of .015 in EVA scale and .051 significance in Neck Disability Index (NDI), statistically confirming the effectiveness and importance of Reflexology to integrate it into therapeutic treatment with the purpose of incorporating the patient to the society, family and to work as soon as possible.
