    Incidencia del Síndrome de Burnout en el Desempeño Laboral de los Fisioterapeutas que Laboran en las Unidades de Salud Pública del Cantón Ambato

    This research was conducted in the institutions of public health service of the Canton Ambato who have the area of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. With the main objective of the research it is: To determine the incidence of Burnout syndrome in physiotherapists who work in public health units of Ambato Canton. This study was observational descriptive transversal, the universe chosen was 29 Physiotherapists of Ambato Canton and data collection was performed once with the survey of personal and occupational factors and questionnaire MIB Maslach Burnout Inventory, in order to determine the Burnout Syndrome incidence in Physiotherapists which it turned out to be 55.17% of 100% of the study population results found that females with Burnout is 34.5%, age and years of service given much significance in the study since 60 % of the population has more than 10 years of service and aged 41 to 55 or more and obtained satisfaction survey care service perceived health user thus conclude that the professionals had Burnout do not provide quality care and generate unequal treatment and users felt dissatisfied with the attention with a percentage of 42.4% of users served by professional participants. So this study seeks to foster in the institutions including a plan of prevention and treatment to health professionals at risk or suffering from work-related stress syndrome.

    Nursing interns during their practice are exposed to a number of occupational hazards as physical, biological and psychological factors that generate insecurity at work; such as exposure to infectious agents, to chemical irritants, allergens, ionizing radiation, poor posture, added mental burden as contact with the disease, suffering and death, without forgetting that the daily difficulties linked to the organization of work such as overload, communication problems between peers, along with working hours, rotating shifts, night work are other risk factors that harm the health of the inmate. Occupational hazards of this group, for which was planned and developed the following activities: training on topics: biosafety, handwashing, occupational diseases, body mechanics, workshops on physical and psychological mechanics with the collaboration of professionals. Of the activities in this group it was determined that the presence of occupational hazards in Internal Nursing develop a job insecurity that causes them both diseases affecting job performance and in their daily lives, and they do not know how to prevent them. Therefore it is concluded that the development of these prevention strategies helped the internal nursing student develop self-care behaviors and to improve their quality of life.

    This research question was to know if they meet biosafety standards in the areas of electrotherapy care centers teaching practices in agreement with the Technical University. Professional physiotherapy in the workplace are exposed to a number of occupational hazards which trigger diseases which in turn will be a limiting factor in the life of a professional, so the identification of these alterations help has safeguard health in you physiotherapists applying safety standards required for their workplace. It is a descriptive study - an observational with a qualitative approach was observed and surveyed 35 physiotherapists 15 centers Physical Therapy, to determine biosafety standards adopted by physiotherapists in the area electrotherapy, concluding that only 9% of the physiotherapists apply all standards established biosafety, and 91% of professionals partially apply.
