Item Evaluación de factores de riesgo para la infección por el virus sars-cov-2 a través de una plataforma integrada en el cantón Ambato, Ecuador(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Medicina, 2022-06-01) Rivera Moposita, Mariela Fernanda; Leiva Suero, Lizette Elena PHDIntroduction: Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus type 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is the third agent within its species that has caused an emerging crisis during the 21st century. The existence of risk factors specific to each population for coronavirus disease 2019 makes new research necessary. Objective: To evaluate risk factors for SARS-CoV-2 virus infection present in the population of Ambato Canton through an integrated platform. Methodology: Patients from the Ambato canton were evaluated through the risk factor module enabled in the computer application. From October 2020 to April 2021. People over 14 years of age, exposed to coronavirus in home isolation, who have agreed to participate in the research, were included. Results: 626 people were selected for clinical evaluation. The infection rate was 8%. In this group, the following predominated: the range of 18 to 26 years (84%), the female gender (72%), the mestizo population (96%), the adequate weight (84%) and a mild evolution of the disease (98%); in addition, 6% presented social risk factors. Of xiii the 52 people with pathological history, 4 were cases of infection (7.69%). Of the total of 463 women and 163 men, the positive cases were 36 (7.77%) and 14 (8.58%) respectively. Conclusions: The young adult population of the Ambato canton constitutes an important risk group for SARS-CoV-2 infection. The presence of pathological antecedents did not increase the risk of infection in these patients and the majority had a mild clinical picture. Both women and men seem to have the same risk of getting sick. Esp.,AliuchaIntroduction: Obesity is a chronic disease of multifactorial etiology. Methodology: A descriptive study was conducted - transversal with the aim of characterizing the comprehensive health care that adult women receive with overweight who were treated at the Health Center La Vicentina, canton Ambato, Tungurahua province, 2016. The sample consisted of 94 adult women aged 20 to 64 who presented excess malnutrition and stratified randomly selected. Results and Discussion: 52.12% are overweight patients and 34.04% belong to the group of 20-39 years. The 48.94% are married women, 60.63% are women with secondary school level, the mestizo self-identification with 88.30%, 11.70% showed adequate medical care and inadequate with 88.30%, being groups with 44.66% overweight and obese women with grade 1 with 24.46% which bring the big number of cases with inadequate monitoring. Conclusions and Recommendations: It is concluded that the highest prevalence of excess malnutrition was in overweight women and in the group of 20-39 years. Comprehensive medical care received in most women with excess malnutrition, studied, was inadequate. MSc., Aida FabiolaThe user satisfaction is crucial in providing services, so in many countries is measured on a routine basis is essential therefore to evaluate the existing provision, as the user satisfaction of health is not only an indicator of excellence, it is even more an instrument of excellence. Objective: - The level of satisfaction (as) users with medical care provided in units of graduate training family medicine, Cotopaxi 2015- 2016 was evaluated. Hypothesis: There are differences in the degree of user satisfaction with the care provided by doctors units Cotopaxi. Methodology: The research descriptive, based on a cross design period, the universe of study is the population of each of the health units where posgradista of family and community medicine form, a standardized instrument was not found to measure the level of satisfaction with medical care, which was validated own. Results: Mean age was 48 years, eight of ten patients are adults, and three out of four were female. The main economic activity was agriculture, predominant ethnicity mixed. Satisfaction by gender, age, ethnicity, education, occupation found no statistically significant difference according to Chi square. Relationship satisfaction, medical act, care process and model of comprehensive health care, the satisfaction scale as measures of central tendency was good to very good. Conclusions: physicians surveyed units, have significant variations in medical care, the percentages of satisfaction are fair to good public servants of the ministry, showing significant in favor of family medicine posgradistas differences.
