Item “La estimulación temprana en el desarrollo psicomotriz de los niños con síndrome de Down de entre 4 a 6 años de edad de la unidad educativa especializada Ambato”(Estimulación Temprana, 2018-10-01) Tello Cruz, Mayra Alejandra.; Rojas Pilalumbo, Washington Fabián, Ps.CI.The present research project was developed on the theme: "Early stimulation in the psychomotor development of children with Down syndrome between 4 and 6 years of age from the Ambato special school", whose general objective was to analyze the influence of the early stimulation in the psychomotor development of children with Down Syndrome between 4 and 6 years of age of the Ambato Special School and as a specific objective to identify the psychomotor development of children with Down Syndrome, apply early stimulation activities for strengthen the psychomotor development of children with Down syndrome and evaluate the results acquired when applying early stimulation activities in children with Down syndrome between 4 and 6 years of age. We worked with a population of 20 children with Down Syndrome from the Ambato special school, for a total of 20 children under investigation, this research is descriptive. The information was collected using the technique of observation and as an instrument the scale of assessment of psychomotor skills in preschool, to determine the level of psychomotor development of children with Down syndrome. This instrument was applied in two instances, a before and after applying activities for psychomotor development and thus verify their level of development.Item “El cuento motor en el desarrollo de la psicomotricidad en niños (as) de 3 a 4 años de edad de la unidad educativa “Mario Cobo Barona”(Estimulación Temprana, 2018-10-01) Haro Guallco, Mercy Patricia.; Troya Ortiz, Elsa Verónica. Mg.The present investigation realized in Ambato city, Province of Tungurahua with a population of 25 children of 3 and 4 years old, 12 children and 13 girls who come to the Educational Unit "Mario Cobo Barona", in which it is intended to establish the influence of motors stories in the psychomotor's development, in the aforementioned population was used as assessment instruments the Scale of Assessment of Preschool Psychomotricity (EPP), which allows us to assess 8 areas of Psychomotricity and the observation record, same that allows to evaluate 8 areas of Psychomotricity and the observation sheet, to later apply the different activities related to the motor story. The results obtained after the application of these activities were analyzed and verified through the Wilcoxon statistical test, showing that the majority of the population improved significantly in relation to the first evaluation.
