Item IMAGEN CORPORAL Y EL BIENESTAR PSICOLÓGICO EN ESTUDIANTES UNIVERSITARIOS(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2024-09-06) Chérrez Valle, Holguer Daniel; Garcia Ramos, Diana CarolinaBody image is the mental representation that each person has of his or her own body and psychological well-being arises when the state of mental functioning is in its best condition, discarding negative aspects. The main purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between body image and psychological well-being in university students. The study had a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, correlational and crosssectional scope. The sample consisted of 101 university students, 79 men and 22 women between 18 and 30 years of age. The Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) adapted by Solano and Cano in 2010 was used to evaluate the body image variable and the Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale adapted to Spanish by Díaz in 2006 was used to evaluate psychological well-being. The results showed that there is no correlation between the variables; they do not present body image concerns (80.2%), and show high psychological well-being (39.6%). No relevant differences were found in psychological well -being according to sex.Item Bienestar psicológico y agresividad en estudiantes universitarios(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2024-08-01) Morales Llerena, Washington Rodrigo; Velasteguí Hernández, Diana Catalina Psc. Cl. Mg.This research explores psychological well-being, defined as the generation of positive emotions and the absence of negative emotions, improving quality of life and facilitating positive relationships with others. On the other hand, aggressiveness manifests itself as a set of behaviors aimed at causing harm or suffering to other people or oneself, taking various forms such as physical and verbal aggression, anger and hostility. The objective was to determine the relationship between psychological well-being and aggressiveness in university students of Jurisprudence and Social Sciences at the Technical University of Ambato. To meet the objectives, a quantitative approach was used with a non experimental design and correlational descriptive scope. The sample had 101 university students of both genders, between 18 and 26 years old. The instruments used were the Ryff Psychological Well-being Scale and the Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire (AQ). The results revealed significant differences between men and women, showing that women tend to react more aggressively in stressful situations. Furthermore, a slight negative correlation was found (Rho= -0.335, p<0.001) using the Spearman test. Finally, these data allowed us to conclude that the greater the psychological well-being, the less aggressiveness and vice versa. Mst.The present research determined the relationship between anxiety and cell phone dependence in high school adolescents, constructs measured by the Hamilton Anxiety Scale and the Mobile Phone Dependence Test (TDM) in a sample of 104 high school students, with an age range of 15 to 18 years, were selected by exclusion and inclusion criteria. The results determined that most of the adolescents presented a mild level of anxiety, followed by a high level, and statistically significant differences were found between the anxiety levels of males and females. The majority of students presented a moderate level of dependence on the cell phone, followed by a high level. For the verification of the research hypothesis, Spearman's nonparametric statistic was used since the anxiety variable did not meet the assumption of normality. After data analysis, a proportional and statistically significant relationship was found between the study variables.Item Estrés percibido y su relación con la autoestima en adolescentes(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2023-03-01) Chipantiza López, Amanda Mishelle; Lara Salazar, Mariela Psic. Inf. Mg.This research was carried out with the objective of determining the relationship between perceived stress levels and self-esteem levels in adolescents. To measure the level of perceived stress, the Perceived Stress Scale (EEP-14) was used, and to evaluate the level of self-esteem, the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale was used in a population of 101 adolescents from the ''Mariano Benítez'' Educational Unit. The methodology applied was based on the quantitative approach, because the information obtained from the scales was compared by means of Spearman's Rho, to obtain the corresponding correlation between the variables, in the same way the data collected was carried out in a determined time. It was found that the levels of perceived stress do not maintain a relationship with the levels of self-esteem, in the same way it was evidenced that the levels of perceived stress that predominates in the population is occasionally stressed, followed by the level often stressed, likewise it was possible to identify that the level of self-esteem that predominates in the participants is medium self-esteem, showing that in this area they do not present serious problems. However, when comparing the perceived stress by gender in the participants, it was evident that the female gender showed a greater amount of perceived stress in the predominant levels, but in the same way the difference that was identified was not very significant since there is no major relevance in the percentages that make the difference in this area among the participants. Cl. Mg.The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between Irrational Beliefs and Sexual Satisfaction in students of the Clinical Psychology Career of the Technical University of Ambato aged between 18 and 30 years, having a total of 70 participants who met the Inclusion and exclusion criteria. The type of research that was carried out was quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional, highlighting a contribution of theoretical relevance because it is the first time that the variables are studied. Within the instruments to measure the levels of sexual satisfaction, the NSSS Sexual Satisfaction Scale was used, while the Irrational Beliefs Questionnaire (TCI) was used for the Irrational Beliefs variable. The analysis of the variables was carried out with the statistical software SPSS-21 and the Rho Spearman test, the results showed the existence of an inverse proportional correlation between the variables, which means that the increase in the presence of irrational beliefs can lead to a decrease in the levels of sexual satisfaction, or vice versa if the irrational beliefs decrease, the level of sexual satisfaction increases. They were found as predominant Irrational Beliefs in the population to helplessness to change and dependence. Regarding the levels of sexual satisfaction, the majority of the population (77.1%) revealed a low level of sexual satisfaction, while the remaining 22.9% had a medium level of sexual satisfaction.Item Relación médico paciente afectada por burnout en el personal de salud en el centro de salud Quero(2021-04-01) Aguaguiña Medina , Susana Elizabeth Md.; Villarroe, Jenny Md.
