(2025-06-17) Moreta Puca, Luis Fernando; Manzano Quisimalin, Devora Estefanía; Universidad Técnica de Ambato / Facultad de Ciencias de Salud / Carrera de Enfermería
Satisfaction can be defined as the difference that exists between the expectations presented by the patient with the perception or care they truly received. This concept is highly complex since it is directly related to a number of factors, including: experiences that has been previously received, expectations, lifestyle, socioeconomic level and very important values, the health system focuses exclusively on user satisfaction since it is an indication of comfort, permanence, control and implies greater demand for services. A bibliographic review is carried out where information was collected and a documentary technique was used, through scientific search engines available on the web, such as articles and publications of a scientific nature that correspond to databases such as: Scielo, PubMed, ScienceDirect, ResearchGate. Allowing an answer to the research question: What are the factors that influence patient satisfaction with nursing care? The PRISMA 2020 methodology was used for literature reviews. Finally, it was shown that in more developed countries, adequate infrastructure, sufficient personnel; They have a better perception by patients of the care provided, while developing countries, which do not have adequate infrastructure or sufficient personnel, obtain a lower rating with the degree of care.

BIENESTAR SUBJETIVO Y SATISFACCIÓN CON LA VIDA EN ESTUDIANTES UNIVERSITARIOS
(2025-03-05) Morales Veintimilla, Esteban Samuel; Bonilla Basantes, Paulina Jhojana; Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología Clínica
Subjective well-being is defined as the evaluation an individual makes of themselves and their life, considering both personal and social aspects. Life satisfaction, on the other hand, refers to the perceived quality of experiences lived at specific moments. Both concepts are intrinsically related to the individual's characteristics and their interaction with the environment in which they develop. The general objective of this study was to determine the relationship between subjective well-being and life satisfaction in university students. The methodology used was quantitative, descriptive, correlational, non-experimental, and crosssectional. The sample consisted of a non-probabilistic convenience sampling of 95 university students aged 18 to 25 from the city of Ambato. The Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale and the Satisfaction with Life Scale were used. The results showed a moderate positive relationship between subjective wellbeing and life satisfaction. Additionally, it was found that there was no statistical significance between genders regarding life satisfaction, indicating that, within the context of the study, gender did not play a differentiating role in the variables analyzed.

(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Enfermería, 2019-03-01) Lua Coello, Jacqueline Tatiana; Blacio Rivas, Ana Ubaldina Lic. Mg.
Internationally, clinical simulation has been progressively implemented over time. As such we deemed it important to perform the research project, “Student satisfaction level when developing skills and abilities using clinical simulation techniques (class of October 2018-January 2019)”. The research was carried out at the Clinical Simulation Laboratory, Faculty of Health Sciences, Querochaca Campus, Technical University of Ambato. Applying the survey Simulated Clinical Experiences Satisfaction Scale (SCESS), of 17 items grouped in 3 (practical, realism and cognitive) dimensions, the satisfaction level was evaluated using a quantitative approach with a non-experimental philosophical foundation. Using exploratory and descriptive methods, the sample was analyzed using probabilistic statistical methods, and 139 students from first to seventh semester were surveyed considering academic cycle. Of the surveyed population, 73% are in the 20 to 25 age range, 24% are under 20 years old and 2% are over 25 years old. 86% are female and 14% are male. 95% of the students show a very high level of satisfaction and 5% show an average level of satisfaction. In academic performance 98% passed while 2% of students failed. The measures of central tendency obtained were: median = 9, mode = 10. Standard deviation and variance are within the ranges of deviation. The nonparametric statistical test, Chi square. Corroborates the conclusion of very high level student satisfaction when developing skills and abilities during clinical simulation scenarios

(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Enfermería, 2018-10-01) Rivera Núñez, Cintia Maribel; Herrera López, José Luis Lic. Mg.
The present research work with the theme "Nursing care in humanized delivery and its incidence in the level of satisfaction of the pregnant woman" which was carried out in the Health Center Type "C" Quero, whose general objective is "to identify Nursing care in relation to the level of satisfaction of the pregnant woman ", allowing the researcher to identify the main nursing care in humanized delivery as well as the level of satisfaction of the pregnant woman. The type of research was qualitative and non-probabilistic convenience sampling in which nurses participated in the emergency area and women who were treated in the health unit from admission to discharge, that is, 24 hours after delivery. The checklist was applied to the nursing staff through observation, while the questionnaire was carried out by the mothers who were in the recovery room of the delivery. When performing the association of variables, it was determined that the mothers who received adequate humanized care reported being satisfied and when applying the statistical test, not for the Chi-square metric, the hypothesis was accepted that the humanized nursing care influences the level of perceived satisfaction for puerperal mothers in the Type C Quero Health Center

“Calidad de vida y su incidencia en la función sexual femenina”
(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2017-05-01) Vaca López, Viviana Gabriela; Bonilla Flores, Flavio Rolando Ps. Cl.
This research aims to determine the relationship between quality of life and female sexual function, attending prenatal check-ups at “Gynecology, Obstetrician, Colposcopy and Hysteroscopy Specialized Center” of Dr. Laura Salame and Dr. Xavier Arellano. The quality of life consists in external and internal conditions. External, related to the social environment and internal related to the human being. Both will provide people a level of satisfaction or dissatisfaction with their own life and what surrounds them. The GENCAT Quality of Life Scale provides a global result together with the breakdown of eight dimensions: emotional well-being, interpersonal relationships, material well-being, personal development, physical well-being, self-determination, social inclusion and rights. On the other hand, the female sexual function is a complement of health and integral well-being of the being. The IFSF Female Sexual Function Index is a battery that evaluates desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction, and pain. For the data analysis, the SPSS program was used through the X2 test and the Fisher's exact test. Finding that there is a relationship between the two variables. Identifying that high level of quality of life and lack of sexual dysfunction are related. Affirming that the study of the quality of life and its implications in the female sexual function generates contributions to ratify its importance in psychology and psychotherapy. Finally, it is necessary to standardize the tests to Ecuador since the test were from Chile and Spain.
