(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2023-03-01) Acurio Oñate, Emelyn Nayely; García Ramos, Diana Carolina Psi. Cl. Mg.
The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between bullying, known as the constant and intentional verbal mistreatment or abuse of power that a girl or boy receives from two or more individuals, and family satisfaction, defined as all the positive feelings that appear in the person when he or she is immersed in the family environment. The research was conducted on high school students, the study was of quantitative approach, descriptive correlational and cross-sectional type, in a sample of 142 students (72 males and 70 females). The tests used were the Cisneros Self-Test to measure bullying and the Family Satisfaction Scale by Adjectives to measure the construct of family satisfaction. The results showed that there is an indirect correlation of low intensity between bullying and family satisfaction (R=-0.348; p= < .001.); as for bullying the high level predominates (66.9%), followed by the very high level (33.1%) and, finally, in family satisfaction the medium level prevails (35.2%), followed by the very low level (23.2%) and the low level (16.9%). With regard to bullying and sex, no statistically significant differences were found. In conclusion, the higher the bullying scores, the lower the family satisfaction scores, thus proving the importance of family satisfaction as a protective factor against bullying in the students evaluated

(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2019-09-01) Tovar Rubio, Juan Fernando; Rodríguez Pérez, Mayra Lucía Psi. Cli. Mg.
The main objective of this research project is to determine the relationship between the levels of family satisfaction and anxiety in adolescents and as specific objectives: to define levels of family satisfaction, to identify levels of anxiety and to differentiate family satisfaction according to sociodemographic variables. The present study is a quantitative approach, correlational and cross-sectional type, two psychological assessment instruments were applied to 71 adolescents from an educational institution in the canton of Latacunga; the instruments used were the family satisfaction scale and the state-trait anxiety questionnaire, in the same way a sociodemographic record was administered for the fulfillment of one of the objectives and to apply the inclusion and exclusion criteria. As results, it was obtained that the majority of the adolescents evaluated presented a high family satisfaction (54.9%), moderate state anxiety levels (49.3%) and moderate trait anxiety levels (50.7%); It was found that adolescents who reported having a better relationship with their mother had higher levels of family satisfaction than those who reported having a better relationship with their father or another member outside the nuclear family, as well as adolescents who reported consuming tobacco. at 4 times a month they had lower levels of family satisfaction than those who reported never consuming or who did one or fewer times a month. Through the application of Spearman's Rho statistical test, it was determined that family satisfaction presents a moderate negative correlation with state-trait anxiety. It is necessary to understand in greater depth the relationship described above, so it is advisable in the future to carry out explanatory studies that allow an understanding of the effect of one variable on the other.
