Item “Relación entre el síndrome de burnout y la satisfacción marital en docentes”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2017-11-01) Vega Pico, Juana Cristina; Gaibor Gonzales, Álvaro Ismael Ps.Cl Mg.The present research project has as main objective to determine the relation between Burnout syndrome and marital satisfaction in teachers. Burnout syndrome is a prolonged stress response at the biological level due to the presence of emotional or interpersonal stressful situations, the evaluation of the burnout syndrome was performed through the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), which evaluates three Dimensions: Emotional Exhaustion, Depersonalization and Personal Realization. Marital satisfaction is a self-exaggerated attitudinal disposition that individuals have toward their partner and towards the relationship. In other words, the positive interaction of a person with their partner and the person in their role as a couple, for this assessment was used the Marital Satisfaction Scale (MSS) that evaluates three dimensions Satisfaction with the interaction in Couple, Satisfaction with Emotional Aspects and Satisfaction with organizational aspects of the couple. This research was applied to 60 teachers of the Faculty of Health Sciences. For the analysis of the data the SPSS statistical program was used through the test X2 and the exact significance of chi square (0.225> 0.05), in which according to the results of the application of the test chi square of Pearson (4) = 4,149, p> 0.05, N = 60). There is no relationship between total burnout score and marital satisfaction score. Therefore, the correlation hypothesis is not met among the general scores, however, a more specific analysis was performed between the three-dimensional scores of both variables using Pearson's R test, finding that if there is a correlation between the Total Burnout Score And Satisfaction with Emotional Aspects (R = -0.298, p <0.05, N = 60) and there is also a correlation between Emotional Exhaustion and Satisfaction with the Emotional Aspects of the couple (R = -0.300, p <0, 05, N = 60), so it is concluded that the hypothesis is partially fulfilled.Item ¨Apego y satisfacción marital¨(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2017-04-01) Cunuhay Guamangate, Tania Magaly; Shuguli Zambrano, Catherine Nataly Ps. Cl. Mg.The research of Emotional Attachment and Marital Satisfaction was carried out at the Technical University of Cotopaxi, Faculty of Human Sciences, Basic Education Career; We worked in particular with 100 Homologation students as a study sample, who were evaluated through two psychological reagents: The Marital Satisfaction Scale (DAS) designed to evaluate the levels or degrees of satisfaction in the couple dynamics and the Questionnaire of Adult Attachment (RQ) that values the type of secure or insecure attachment, based on the fact that attachment is the bond or bonding relationship of affection, this being the long-term basis of interpersonal relationships; Who after the analysis of vulnerability in relation to the subject and the criterion of structuring of relationship of couple, were captured; In order to demonstrate attachment and its relation to marital satisfaction; After this process the evaluation phase was carried out by means of the application of psychotechnical batteries, facilitating the analysis and graphic representation of the subject under investigation; With the obtained results and through statistical methods it was verified that the attachment is related to the marital satisfaction; Ie if the individual has a secure attachment will have greater skills and intrapersonal characteristics that will allow him to maintain adequate functionality in the relationship, Finally, it should be noted that the information generated in the research will contribute to further studies.
