    Diseño de alcantarillado sanitario en el caserío Poatug, de la parroquia Sucre perteneciente al cantón Patate provincia Tungurahua

    The objective of the project is to solve the sanitary sanitation problems for the Poatug sector, Cochaleo neighborhood of the Sucre parish belonging to the San Cristóbal de Patate canton, for which a 4.3 km long gravity sanitary sewerage network was designed with their respective home connections and treatment plant, based on the TULSMA STANDARDS (Unified Text of Secondary Environmental Legislation – Former TULAS) and others. Work was done in the field and in the office, beginning with the research carried out through surveys, INEN census data in which a design population of 204 hab was determined, for a period of 25 years, with a growth rate of 1 64 percent, with which a detailed description of the current health condition of the sector was made. It was proposed that the gravity sewerage system is the most optimal for the project; subsequently calculating a minimum design flow of 2.2 lt/sg. The project was designed with 109 inspection wells ranging from 0.8 m to 2.00 m and is developed in a length of 4,369 meters of 200 mm PVC pipe. A treatment plant was also designed consisting of: a sand trap and gratings for the preliminary treatment, an Imhoff tank and a sludge drying bed for the primary treatment and, finally, an ascending flow biological filter for the secondary treatment. Determining a referential budget of 351795.67 dollars without including VAT.
