    Diseño del sistema de alcantarillado y planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales, para mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes del barrio Yanahurco, La Esperanza, cantón Mocha, provincia de Tungurahua

    Due to the need of the inhabitants of the sector to have a sanitary sewerage system, being important to improve their quality of life, the necessary studies are carried out for the development of this project. The design of the proposal was carried out: sewerage, hydraulic evaluation of the existing network in order to determine if it will be able to conduct the projected and future tributary, physical improvements were evaluated and proposed so that the current P.T.A.R. can treat the future flow. Current information was collected from the areas involved, such as: population, topography, dimensions of wells and existing network, flows and dimensions of the components of the P.T.A.R, complying with current rules and regulations. The sanitary sewer network and the physical improvements of the P.T.A.R, were designed for a period of 25 years, and future populations. The designed network consists of PVC pipe Ø200 mm, with a length of 2,908 km. The evaluated network consists of simple concrete pipe Ø250 mm, with a network length of 1,345 km. The future flow for the proposal for physical improvement of the P.T.A.R corresponds to 11,228 lt, consisting of: open entrance channel, distribution and screening tank, septic tank, F.A.F.A. and sludge drying bed. As products, plans of the sewerage system and physical improvement of the P.T.A.R, referential budget, analysis of unit prices, technical specifications and valued schedule of works were generated.
