    The present project was carried out in the zone high of the Benítez Parish of San Pedro de Pelileo Canton, Tungurahua Province, with the design of the Potable Water Distribution network, to find the most feasible way both economically for the inhabitants of the sector. in Which refers to the total budget of the work at the construction stage, thus ensuring a higher standard of living. The hydraulic design of the conduction and distribution networks has been made using the Hazen - Williams formula to calculate the load losses; as well as the designs of each unit that compose the system as: distribution. For the disinfection of water have been considered a alternative by means of chlorine tablets, determining that it is economically profitable. In addition, it includes the analysis of unit price, Environmental Impact and the Technical Specifications of Construction. Once the results were obtained, it was verified that the objectives were fulfilled completely, consequently the Handling and Maintenance Manual for the Drinking Water Distribution Network was carried out, and a comparative table of the methods most used at the level National in terms of disinfection that contains the following analyzes: Chlorine Residual, Storage Stability, Chlorine Concentration, Product Handling Hazards, Chemical Form, PH, Residual Chlorine Stability and Economics.
