Initially a road inventory was made where the length, width of the road, ditches, water passages and sections of the current road were found. In addition, the existence of an initial section from abscissa 0+000 to abscissa 2+100 and a continuous section from abscissa 2+100 to abscissa 4+170 were identified. A georederencing was perdormed in UTM coordinates WGS 84 17 S. It was also necessary to perform a manual vehicle count over a period of one week for twelve hours to determine the equivalent axes to be used for a subsequent reinforcement or pavement design. As information collection methods are soil studies at each kilometer to subsequently perform laboratory tests such as: Granulometry, Atterberg Limits, Compaction and Modified Proctor resulting in the mechanical properties of the materials that make up the pavement structure. For the evaluations of the condition of the pavement, the Benkelman Beam is identified and the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method, these tests identify the quality and severity of the faults located in the tread layer in a visual and non-destructive way. Analyzing the results that are on the road is in very good condition and mostly the road that needs periodic maintenance and rehabilitation is deduced according to the current regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works (MTOP), American State Highway Association Standard and Transportation (AASHTO), American Materials Testing Association (ASTM) and National Institute for Standardization (INEN).
