Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2024-02) Lozada Quevedo, Andrea Elizabeth; Castro Solórzano, Fidel AlbertoThe sanitary sewerage system is an indispensable basic service for human beings because it improves health and reduces the percentage of diseases among the population. Therefore, a sewerage system design was proposed in this sector, since they lack this service. The development of this technical project was divided into three phases: the first was to diagnose the current situation of the wastewater collection and disposal systems of the mentioned neighborhoods, by collecting data from the sector and the users; the second phase was the topographic survey of the study area where the volume of wastewater to be disposed of by the inhabitants of the sector was determined; the third and last phase was to calculate the contribution areas, define flow rates and determine the diameters necessary for the design of the sewerage system. The methodology used was mostly quantitative, because it provided as a final result the design of the sanitary sewerage system using corrugated PVC material of 200mm diameter, designed for a period of 25 years that covers the need to drain the sanitary waste of the current and future population; in addition, detailed plans and a referential budget were obtained as products, so that the project can be executed in the future.Item Rediseño del sistema de distribución de agua de la junta administradora de agua Zumbalica de la parroquia Eloy Alfaro cantón Latacunga provincia de Cotopaxi(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2023-03) Chicaiza Cando, Cristian Paúl; Cañizares Proaño, Byron GenaroIn the place of study of this project, there are deficiencies in the water supply due to the intermittencies present in the conduction line, and also the distribution network requires a redesign since it has been in operation for several years, soon reaching its useful life. The present project began with a collection of information provided by the users and the managers of the water board, the collection sources were visited and thus to know the conditions of the water consumed by the population, the current conduction line was visited and The state that is found was analyzed in order to propose alternatives and, if necessary, to rectify its path, the alternatives proposed by the author were analyzed through Microsoft Excel software and the one that was in accordance with the values allowed by the regulations was selected. standards CPE INEN 5 Part 9-1 and 9-2. The JAAPZ distribution network was designed with the help of the EPANET software and it was verified that the hydraulic values comply with current regulations. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2021-01) León Cepeda, José Estuardo; Paredes Cabezas, Geovanny AnibalThe present experimental work is focused on the hydraulic analysis of the Ambato river from the Tilulún sector to Viñas sector with a total of 20 kilometers of which from kilometer 12 to kilometer 16 belong to the development of the project. The objective is to process information from the hydrometeorological stations and the geography of the site, in order to analyze hydraulic behavior for possible extraordinary floods of the Ambato river under various scenarios with different return periods with their respective flows as a protective measure to identify which would be the affected sectors. The methodology starts with the processing of stations records so that the data is filtered under Chauvenet’s criteria, a maximum return period is defined based on the structures in the section, on the other hand, the data are projected using Gumbel probabilistic method and finally the flow is calculated with the general formula of Ven Te Chow, next, the model is calibrated and the calculated data is entered into the HecRas software for analysis. As a result, a maximum return period of 140 years was obtained with a flow rate of 115.78 cubic meters per second, an average speed of 3.83 meter per second, an average shear effort of 419.98 Newton per square meter and a flood area of 31.16 hectares was determined.Item Estudio de factibilidad de la etapa hidrológica para la implementación de una represa en la quebrada Santa Lucia del sector San José - La Dolorosa del cantón Tisaleo; provincia de Tungurahua(2018) Guano Escobar, Jenny Susana; Maldonado Narvaez, Lenin RafaelIn this technician work, the study of feasibility of the hydrological stage for the implementation of one dams in the sacred Santa Lucia of the sector san José - the painful of the canton tisaleo; county de Tungurahua The present work technician has as purpose to implement one it dams in the sector San José - The Painful of the Canton Tisaleo, with the purpose of providing from a permanent flow to the users that will be benefitted; in turn it is sought to apply this project to other sectors of the Canton that you/they need of the I liquidate vital.
