    It is crucial to highlight that industrial maintenance is a fundamental element in the productive process of any industry or company, as it focuses on the reduction and optimization of business development. This allows for the reduction of failures in machines, equipment, and installations, thus preventing economic losses for the organization. In the present research, both quantitative and qualitative methods were employed, applying numerical, mathematical analyses, and result reviews; AMFE and Criticality matrices were also conducted, considering them of great importance, to provide maintenance criteria based on engineering. The research is based on data from primary sources collected in the field through surveys, inspections, and interviews. Additionally, a computer-assisted maintenance model was used, which allowed for effective and assertive handling of the information, facilitating the main objective of the research. The current state of the equipment and machines was also determined to understand their level of functionality and operating conditions. As a result, regular and documented inspections must be carried out by trained personnel who use the appropriate tools and are familiar with the specific maintenance plan for each type of equipment or machine. It is important to foster collaboration between technicians and operators to ensure that evaluations are accurate and comprehensive. The information collected should be used to continuously update the maintenance plan and make informed decisions about repairs and replacements within the company.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para los equipos y maquinaria de la empresa Carrocerías Altamirano de la cuidad de Ambato

    The company Carrocerias Altamirano has allowed an exhaustive analysis of the equipment and machinery used in its manufacturing and repair operations with the problem that it does not currently have a preventive maintenance model specifically designed to ensure optimum performance and prolonged useful life of its essential assets. With this idea in mind, the present research work is proposed; with the purpose of approaching a methodology of a mixed nature, since it is based on both a qualitative and quantitative model. It is essential to highlight that the creation of a model aimed at identifying the parameters for the maintenance plan of the machinery of Carrocerias Altamirano required the use of a broad bibliographic base to specify each aspect related to preventive and corrective activities within the company. Additionally, the condition of the machines was evaluated by means of the prevention technical note NTP 679, and statistical data from previous years were used to detail the availability of the machines. Once these data were analyzed, they were incorporated into the FMEA matrix to determine the priority risk number NPR, and from that perspective to obtain an estimate of reliability and availability for the application of a CMMS model. It is noteworthy that the current evaluation of the condition of the machines at Carrocerías Altamirano indicates that the vast majority of them are in semi-optimal condition and show high performance of 78 percent. This is due to their origin, age and characteristics, which allow them to operate efficiently and contribute to the company's production process.

    Diseño de un modelo GMAO orientado al mantenimiento preventivo para la empresa carrocera Mega Santacruz

    It is accurate to state that maintenance can be managed with the help of computers, since it is easier to enter data, process it and perform many tasks in a simpler and more convenient way than on paper, since maintenance involves handling large amounts of data and information. Computer-aided maintenance management is a program that can handle large amounts of work orders, consumables, spare parts inventory and equipment needed for better control. It is for this reason that the present research work is oriented on the idea of developing a GMAO model oriented to preventive maintenance for the car manufacturing company MEGA SANTACRUZ. The development of such an important object could only be achieved by means of a bibliographic and quantitative research model. The current state of the machines of the company Mega Santacruz shows that mostly its model state is valuable and with a high performance for which a maintenance plan was generated, this model has a series of activities oriented to each of the machines; same that must be carried out based on the dates established by means of Fractal One program.

    It is important to emphasize that nowadays industrial maintenance is an integral part of the productive processes which are responsible for developing and optimizing any process, minimizing failures and interruptions in the operation of any machine or equipment. For this reason, a preventive maintenance plan was developed for GAD machines in Ambato. The methodology used was based on qualitative and quantitative models, where a series of data and analysis of characteristics were used to collect information, which allowed solving each of the proposed tasks. In addition, the development of the plan was not only considered on an empirical basis. In fact, it was based on the computer-aided maintenance management model (CMMS) combined with a Weibull normal distribution. The analysis of the operating parameters of each machine showed that each of them has certain characteristics, so their maintenance should be focused on their specific needs. Finally, it is of utmost importance to remember that it will be possible to optimize and determine the working conditions of a machine by direct observation and the best way to do this is a guided tour of the study area.
