Carrera de Diseño Gráfico Publicitario., 2019-08) Bonilla López, Stalin Alexander; Nájera Gáleas, Carlos EnriqueThe present investigation project aims to approach the problem of the poor diffusion of editorial design for the traditional games in the city of Ambato, and how it affects in the knowledge of these practices by children in primary school, for that purpose it is considered how editorial design can contribute to the recovery of those activities of yesteryear. Traditional games are owned manifestations of a town, which have been transmitted from generation to generation, this property of surviving along several generations gives it the traditional characteristic. With the passing of time due to many factors, these activities have been losing relevance among people, adding that they have not had the adequate support through editorial design to continue being valid. Through the objectives set out in the present project, elements of editorial design that help to the right information of these cultural activities are seek to be determined, so that through this information students of primary education and their formation centers know how to take them to practice. Likewise, in inquiring which are the most adequate traditional games to practice for children aged 7 to 10 years old, searching for what is the practice that brings more benefits to their development. The results that were obtained with the investigation, helped to determine that editorial design contributes to the recovery of traditional games in children of primary education, acting like an informative channel which was not available before; for which an illustrated guide about the traditional game of marbles is proposed, generating a content that will encourage children to practice this activity.
