    Las relaciones entre espacio público - privado en áreas consolidadas de Ambato. Tratamiento integral en las escalinatas de la calle 13 de Abril

    En la actualidad Ambato ha sufrido un crecimiento territorial urbano acelerado, por lo que la movilidad peatonal se ha reducido considerablemente. Como resultado de lo mencionado se observa el deterioro de las rutas peatonales como es el caso de las escalinatas ubicadas en la calle 13 de Abril; Las mismas que se constituyen en una pieza fundamental del proyecto ya que su ubicación estratégica y las potencialidades que presentan las convierten en sitios importantes para la revalorización de espacios públicos. Las escalinatas en las ciudades son elementos icónicos donde se desenvuelve una vida cotidiana diferente a otros sectores, por lo tanto, necesitan ser lugares libres de contaminación producida por los vehículos, por ser peatonales deben tener relación con el espacio construido generando recorridos agradables que inviten a los usuarios a transitarlas y disfrutar de servicios complementarios. Con base a la teoría y referentes estudiados es importante generar estrategias que concluyan en el Tratamiento Integral de las Escalinatas, lo cual permite recuperar el sistema de movilidad y conectar la plataforma 1 y 3, las cuales están separadas por temas de topografía . Sin embargo, Desde la planificación urbana en las escalas establecidas: macro, meso y micro se busca integrar los tamos de escalinatas existentes para conectar sitios de interés y fomentar la movilidad peatonal, así como también establecer espacios públicos de estar e intervenciones de paisaje, cultura y comercio que mejoren la calidad de vida en los habitantes de la zona y además promuevan la ocupación del espacio a largo plazo.

    Cualidades semánticas de los materiales utilizados en la artesanía Shuar y su aplicación en el diseño interior

    The objective was to analyze the semantic qualities of the materials used in Shuar crafts for the application in interior design as a contribution to the rescue and revaluation of cultural identity from the conception of interior design and convergence where the designer becomes aware and acts as an agent culture transmitter. It is for this reason that the present research work has focused on identifying the hierarchy that they have in their commune in terms of trends and the conception of their ancestors, who perceived it as traditions and customs forming part of their own cultural identity before the rest of the society. The data thrown by the research into the semantic qualities of the materials allowed to generate designs for any type of format, whether printed or digital, in the development of this research a methodology was used with a qualitative approach from the theoretical position of Roland Barthes in which talks about the semantics of the object, as a way to find the meanings of these from the point of view associated with the culture, in the relevant case the materials that make up the craft are the objects and the linked culture is the Shuar community of Iniayua belonging to Morona Santiago. Thus the proposal resulting from the field ethnographic research directed me to propose a catalog of interpretation of applicable materials for the semantic interior design of the Shuar crafts. The scope of the project transcends the rescue, revaluation and transmission of ancestral identity and knowledge
