Abstract
La siguiente investigación aborda el tema “El juguete didáctico en la enseñanza de las nociones básicas de cantidad en el Nivel Inicial”, luego de una búsqueda intensa de información en artículos científicos, libros, revistas, entre otros, y la obtención una información relevante. El propósito principal de esta investigación es analizar la importancia del juguete didáctico en la enseñanza de nociones básicas de cantidad y cómo influye en el aprendizaje de los niños del nivel inicial del Centro Educativo Bilingüe “La Granja”. Presenta un enfoque cualitativo, con un diseño de investigación – acción; mostrando de esta manera una propuesta de las actividades que se puede realizar con los niños, y el impacto de la temática dentro del ámbito educativo, de igual forma posee un alcance descriptivo puesto que detalla cada una de las características de las variables brindando una información clara y precisa. Con la operacionalización de las variables se platea dos técnicas con sus instrumentos, entre ellos, la técnica de la entrevista con su instrumento el guion de entrevista, está diseñado con preguntas abiertas las cuales fueron evaluadas y aprobadas por expertos en el área de Educación Inicial, a la par se utilizó la técnica de observación con su instrumento la guía de campo; mismas que facilitaron la elaboración de resultados basándose en los objetivos planteados, finalmente se pudo comprobar que el adecuado manejo del juguete didáctico se convierte en una eficaz herramienta pedagógica en la enseñanza de las nociones básicas de cantidad, generando un aprendizaje significativo con experiencias positivas en los niños.

After an exhaustive search in scientific articles, books, magazines, among others to obtain relevant information for this research, the topic “The didactic toy in the teaching of the basic notion of quantity at kindergarten”, was addressed; being its main objective the analysis of the importance of a didactic toy when teaching basic notions about quantity and its influence in the learning process of children who are in the kindergarten at “Centro Educativo Bilingüe La Granja.” The research is based on the qualitative approach, with a research-action design to demonstrate that the proposed activities can be carried out with children, as well as the impact of the topic on the field of education. The research also has a descriptive scope since it details each of the characteristics of the variables by providing clear and precise information. Based on the operationalization of the variables, two techniques and their instruments were proposed. On one side, the interview had open questions which were evaluated and approved by experts in the area and on the other hand, the observation technique with its guide, which facilitated the analysis of the results based on the proposed objectives. Finally, it was possible to verify that the adequate handling of the didactic toy can become an effective pedagogical tool when teaching basic notions about quantity by generating significant learning with positive experiences in the kids
